Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Same here. Should we make a new thread just for the HBO series and let this one be the thread just for the books since Dragons is coming out? Guess it doesn't really matter either way just a thought
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I think we should talk about the show itt and let someone who hasn't read the books start a thread for people who haven't read the books and just read the show, because we are going to want to talk about the big picture while they are going to want to figure out what is going to happen in the next episode and we aren't going to want to spoiler everything
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Havent read the thread, are there a millions spoilers inside? About to start book 4.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread The thread is spread out over a long time with posts coming sporadically so I don't remember how much of it is spoilered, but I don't think much of it is.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread So this isn't the 15min clip they showed the media a few months ago? All of them came away from that really impressed and I've wanted to see it. I think it might have had more than the first episode in it though.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread So where do yall think the 1st episode ends? I say right after Spoiler Jaime shoves Brandon off the abandoned tower
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread May want to spoiler that for people coming into this thread that haven't read the books. Then again maybe you did spoiler it and I can't tell because I'm on my phone
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I think so too but apart of me wants it not to be true just because of how obvious it seems
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I definitely think he is a Targaryen. Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark's (Ned's sister) son. You'll notice Ned always says Jon is his blood, but never his son. And he made this promise to his sister before she died that I think was to claim Jon as his own bastard, and not ever let it be known he is a Targaryen. Robert would have had him killed on the spot if he knew Jon was a Targaryen because he hated them, especially Rhaegar.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread the name of the wind is kinda hard to get into. does it kind of pick up?
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread only halfway through the second book but I hate that bitch. Kinda hope she gets gang raped by some of Tyrion's mountain people.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Sansa was such a cunt.. I've tried to restart reading but I have had enough time to much further than when they get the wolves
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I think the last scene of the series ends with a fat guy sitting in a pizza parlor daydreaming the whole thing while he waits for his order.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Same here. Huge cunt until then. Love Littlefinger guy is awesome
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Sansa chapters are awful at first but after a while you just feel bad for her.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread After all the shit Sansa does I was like "Bitch, I'll never forgive you for this" and I haven't. Trading Spouses - Chappelles show 0:20
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread You just wrinkled my brain. I have never thought about this but now that I have heard it, it all makes sense. I always wondered how Ned would have a bastard since he was supposed to me such a man of honor. Does it ever talk about what Ned's sister looks like? The books always talk about how much Snow looks just like Ned. Anyway I agree with this and that more than likely Snow is a Targaryen.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Didn't notice it the first time through, but I'm finding upon rereading that I notice a lot more the second time. Ned tells Arya that she looks just like Lyanna. Jon and Arya are the only ones that look like Ned so by cutting out the middle men Jon looks like Lyanna
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Interesting. I am going to have to start reading these again ASAP.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread i wish rhaegar wasnt dead or at least they talked more about him. he seemed like a badass.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread She is just too damn stupid for me to feel bad for her. I know a lot of shitty things have happened to her, but her stupidity tends to be the cause. She is one character I wouldn't mind seeing killed off.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I have always felt bad for Sansa. She is exactly who she was raised to be. I felt like she has really evolved as a character too. I look forward to seeing where her story goes.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Yeah it would be real interesting to see his character compared to others. I bet he'd stack up with the best of them as far as cunning and what he would do to someone else.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread See, I disagree with this because none of the other kids turned out anything like her, and her parents aren't like her either. There is literally no reason for her to be so naive and idealistic.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread She is different from everyone else no doubt but that is how most families are. Plus when she thought she was going to marry the prince I am sure that went to her head. She has really come back down to earth since then. She has been put through quite a lot.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread If seeing your dad's head on a spike doesn't knock you down a peg or two nothing will.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Littlefinger's in need of a serious asskcking. Dude spent his entire life pining for some woman that wanted nothing to do with him, then makes an awkward pass at her daughter. He's a straight up bitch.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread I always liked him Yeah him and Dany are going to run shit
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Littlefinger is in need of a good ole fashion ass whoopin, Brandon Stark style
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Sansa is a 12 year old girl, ya she was naieve but come on, she was a child
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Yeah, I want littlefinger to get his. I also want a slow and painful death for cersei but that goes without saying.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Just finished the 3rd book. Read the epilogue and was all :ohholyfuck:
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Arya was younger, didnt stop her from ballin out on everyone
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Littlefinger is a badass. And Rheagar being dead is pretty much my only disappointment in these books.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Arya may be the best character in the first 3 books so far. She doesn't have a single wasted chapter. Spoiler Fucking loved it when she iced the Tickler
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread Not a fan of davos chapters tbqh. Jon's are first for me. Tyrion's are great as are arya's. Hate Sansa.
Re: Official "A Song of Ice and Fire" Thread top best no order for me jon littefinger arya jaime tyrion top worst no order for me BRIENNE sansa(before vale) arys cat when she was whining and moping non stop
