just finished three. Didn't bother reading anyones posts because knowing TMB there are spoilers everywhere
Finally finished book 3... on to AFFC I suppose. At this rate, I'll be done with that around Thanksgiving. kinda like how they killed every other character. too bad Robert Arryn didn't follow his bitch mom out the Moon Door.
Like mentioned earlier I loved the unsullied chapter. I was absolutely crushed when they killed Robb. At the time I thought they killed arya so I was pissed, couldn't care less about catelyn. I was also hoping Jon would take stannis's offer.
Just finished and starting Book 4 today. I have kindle on my work computer now so I'm getting through these pretty quick
can someone jog my memory on the 3rd person Arya asks Jaqen to kill? didn't Arya threaten to name Jaqen himself
Spoiler An evil girl said a certain name and blackmailed a man to help a girl free some wolves via weasel soup.
Well then fuck GRRM and his house of undying danny pov in GoT because he spoils the fuck out of the books. Including that very image with more details Spoiler It doesn't spoil anything
if i hadn't read the book, there would be no way I could ever imagine what that cover is displaying, I would have said hell yeah, the Starks about to run this bitch!
Just finished the book. Fuck the Freys, I hope they end up getting theirs. I've never been that mad after reading anything in my life.
I usually hate these because I'm such a big fan of Downfall, but this sums up The Red Wedding pretty well.
Most people summed up most of my thoughts throughout this thread, so no need to really rehash them. Pretty cool that it was Arya's wolf dream via Nymeria pulled Cat out of the river and then said she was dead. -really interested to see how the Wall/North plays out with Snow and Stannis. I hope to hear some shit during AFFC. -Loved Tyrion killing Tywin and the last line of him not shitting gold. -Team fucking Littlefinger. -I hadn't seen it mentioned but with it snowing at the end and in The Vale with Sansa after Jon Snow was named Lord Commander there has to be some sort of connection there. -I have a feeling Arya and Tyrion may cross paths in the Free Cities/Braavos. Just thinking out loud on the last two. Also going back through this thread it took me so long to read. GRRM pissed me off and I am notorious for putting down a book and not reading it for a few weeks.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUU but that's what I thought. Maybe just some snippets, he can't just completely ignore it.
Book 4 and a large portion of book 5 happen simultaneously; so you don't hear anything from Jon's POV in book 4.
Yeah I know that, I was more or less saying that you would hear some mentions of the Wall, the North, but w/o having the POVs Also, I got AFFC in the mail today and will be starting it tonight.
lol. The ending of book 4 is pretty damn good so just power through. It's not a bad book but the pace is just way slower. Jaime chapters are best, imo.
Well, I liked those chapters in ASOS so that's good. I liked Jaime a lot better than I thought I would.
Just finished the Samwell I chapter this morning. Spoiler Why didn't I figure out what the dragonglass was for before now?
I also thought it was p cool of Jaime to give the sword formerly known as Ice to the Wench when he told her to go find and protect the Stark girls.
that bothered me a lot more than i would have thought. i fucking hate tywin and i hate that the show makes him more human
