In the music app underneath Recently added where it shows album artwork it should say Songs/Artists/Albums based on what view you are on, tap that and turn on "Only Downloaded Music".
I just bought a new iPhone from the Apple store with insurance and all that shit. Is it true when buying a phone from a At&t store or any provider the price is lower? I'm $600 dollars poorer now.
Turning off Apple Music in settings works as well. Apple Music is fine but it prevents you from adding your own music to your phone, which is bullshit.
I sync my phone to my iTunes on my computer. I've added Led Zeppelin and Prince songs both of which weren't on Apple Music when I added them.
I canceled mine but you should be able to tap the ... next to the song and hit "make available offline"
No. All sales avenues offer a full price or a financed price. For example I pay $30/mo just for the phone and I can upgrade it every year.
That's not the same thing, that just allows you to locally download music you've added through Apple Music. I was referring to acquiring an album thru torrance and then adding it to iTunes and syncing to your phone.
That's how it's been since the last release. There is no cheaper lump sum price anymore that I am aware of.
I think you still can but the discount price is not a lot cheaper. I think carriers are getting away from that practice.
I've heard this rumor as well and although I can upgrade at the end of this year, intend on waiting until next year for the big upgrade. Unless the next iOS updates make my phone shit the bed as per usual whenever a new phone comes out. Hooray planned obsolescence.
Ya you can still do that. I do it all the time. What are you not seeing in iTunes? N/m. You're saying with Apple Music, got it.
I've been torn on getting an Apple Watch. The only thing that's holding me back is not having its own Gps. I want to go on runs without having to take my phone with me. Anyone know anything about Apple Watch 2? I've heard rumors it will have built in GPS but no clue on release date.
Had a temporary 6+ while my number was being ported to my new job. The digitizer went bad and I couldn't do anything. Got a 6s+ at my new job. Went to the dentist today and I was sitting in the waiting room. I noticed the phone got really hot in my pocket. I pull it out and I go to check the phone and the screen literally cracked right in front of me as I was holding it. It actually cracked on the inside of the screen (can't feel it when I run my finger over it). Of course the Apple Store Genius Bar is booked solid until next Thursday. Apple getting slack on their QC
so whats the best place for new laptop batteries these days? doesnt appear they sell them on the apple site any longer(unless I am looking in the wrong place) and my mid 2012 mb pro battery is about toast.
Used the student discount earlier in the week and got an open box 13 inch air for 675. Never had a Mac but so far I am loving it. Also got the 32g 9.7 pro today for 375. Can't beat that shit.
Anyone else been using the iOS 10 beta released to the public (if you sign up)? It's pretty nice but man there are some things they changed that are really stupid.
I've been using it for a few days now. So far I like it. What don't you like so far? Haven't really been able to play with messages much since no one can receive the stuff I'm sending since they are still on iOS 9.
I'm not a fan of how the default mail app is now (i know i probably should be using gmail app) and how it puts all email chains together in no real logical order. Also, not sure I am a fan of the volume control being on a different screen in the swipe-up control panel. There are a few other little quirky things i probably am just not used to yet.
I have nothing to add, just that the guy at the Apple store replaced my laptop charger for free today.
Yeah, control center changes were pretty jarring but I think I will end up liking them. I haven't used stock email app in years. I use Outlook app and love it.
This should be sexy. https://www.google.com/amp/www.high...iano-black-colorway/?format=amp?client=safari
From the pictures and what I've seen online one of the big changes for the iPhone 7 will be no auxiliary jack on the phone, meaning Bluetooth is now that absolute only way you can go. Of course they will sell some connector that will go in the power outlet that will allow for an auxiliary cord to be connected but that will have to be purchased separately. It seems I might have gone as far as I'm willing to go with the iPhone. EDIT: Guess we will find out later today.
Apple and BeatsByDre have produced headphones that plug into the lightning port. Apple is trying to market this in such a way that the lightning port provides power, which an auxiliary jack does not. Power will allow development of active noise canceling tech. The big reason for removing it is will allow them to make the phone thinner (it's the largest port on the phone) and add more tech to the space where the aux port used to be. Although it would be a shitty move for Apple to not include headphones + an aux adapter in the box with the new phone
to that I would say definitely not. they are in the business of marketing their lightning port headphones, you can almost guarantee those will be included. and hopefully an aux adapter for the lightning port.
That's stupid. So unless you buy yet another adapter you won't be able to charge your phone and listen to music at the same time?
Heard someone on CNBC this morning speculating that the lighting port earbuds would be the add-on and bluetooth ones would be included.
However, if they do go with the lightning port earbuds as the included ones, the battery better last a lot fucking longer. I've had my 6 for almost 2 years now and the battery is total shit. I basically have to fully recharge it twice a day at work after it charging overnight.
yeah I swear I read somewhere yesterday that that bluetooth ones were going to be included which surprised me.
