After 24 hours with the series 2 Watch, can confirm it is leaps and bounds better than the first one, which I considered a piece of useless junk very happy with it. Though I'll admit that half of that improvement is probably the new operating system, so series 1 pieces are probably great too now
I don't wear a watch, but I imagine the water resistance and onboard GPS make the series 2 a much more practical device.
Did the new style of notifications remove the option for snoozing or hiding the notifications? Sometimes whe. I get a text, I used to swipe up to get it off the screen. I don't see how this works now?
shipping estimates with Apple can be weird. The watch is different than the phone in demand, obviously, but I had preordered from Best Buy for supposed release day delivery and they screwed all their preorders over by delaying shipment until 9/29 2 days before release (they were probably screwed over by Apple leading to that, but still). So, I decided to order through Apple's site and see which one came first. Apple estimated my delivery to be mid October when I ordered, but my watch is now in UPS's system and will be delivered tomorrow.
By now I've learned apple lies about most ship times to create the image of a higher demand vs supply.

I don't want to open the text, it happens when i am showing someone my phone and i don't want to open the text for reasons. I figured out if you touch the notification and push up it snoozes it without opening it up.
Did it tell you it was November before you ordered it? Because if it said Novemeber and you clicked ok then you're the dumb dumb.
Ended up going online Saturday around 9am and they had regular black 128gb 7+ at the store right near my house and no other 7+ in stock. Got lucky.
Also cool new trick in ios10 if you didn't know. If you send someone via text a link to a tweet it kind of embeds the tweet in the text. Not quite as good as a true embed like TMB just added but it is a big improvement over having to click on the link.
Currently on ATT Next plan where I can get the new one each year. Need to check how much to pay off and buy outright, if it's the same or less Thant I can get when trading it in I will do that and then order through apples upgrade program, saves some money getting apple care with it.
you can also send a link to a pornhub video and it will place the thumbnail of the video in the message. pretty funny.
never had force touch before but if you force touch the flashlight shortcut it gives you 3 levels of brightness
Coming to you live from Sierra. Seems exactly the same except for Siri, which Im not sure I'll use much
biggest change imo is cloud storage of little-used files, freeing up local space for torrance and other unmentionables of larger importance
Sierra seemed cool but I can't put it on my mid-2008 iMac and I love this thing too much to get rid of it
got one computer upgraded to sierra with no issue, but I guess the swarm had started when I tried to dl the second one so I will have to give it another shot tonight.
I just looked through them all and they are all working $10. Apple actually did the highest. Looks like you can get more selling on EBay though.
Downloading it remotely on my personal Macbook at the house before I put it on the work Macbook. Need to verify if it screws up any of the Adobe programs I use. Have them on both computers, if it screws them up on my personal Macbook I can just bring the work Macbook home when needed.
Yeah. You cant do any of the new stuff from imessages on your computer, but they show up the same way
It took probably a good hour for it to DL and install when I did it. Got nervous a few times it was bricking my laptop.
