If I am understanding you correctly when you add music to your library the artist, song title, artwork etc. doesn't always come into iTunes or come in the way you want. That isn't likely iTunes faut but rather the data of the files you are importing. If the files do not have the ID tag information then how will iTunes know what it should be?

 

My initial order said the phone would ship on 10/5, just got an email this morning saying it arrives tomorrow.

When did you get charged? I got charged Thursday night and my phone is expected to be delivered tomorrow.

This reminds me of when I used to get angry calls from customers at Zappos that went something like this:

"My order arrived the day after I ordered it. This is unacceptable."

Well, you chose next day shipping, so we shipped it to arrive the next day.

"But I won't be there for 2 more days because I'm out of town. It will likely get stolen. I assumed that if I picked 1 day it would take 5. You guys are the worst."

Had a mid october ship date and got an email that my 256 7+ shipped today. No tracking yet. What's a typical ship time.

 

Mine initially was October 4-10, shipped on September 18, was initially scheduled for delivery on 21st, but UPS had a mechanical issue/inclement weather delay for two days last week so didn't arrive until 24th

 

Got my matte black 7 plus today. It's sexy af.

I might offer, close on, and move into a house before my phone ships.

 

What was the issue with the alarm not working? I use my alarm pretty regularly and now am scared af not to updates the iOS.

Tracking info has new phone arriving on 10/1. ...I think 2 weeks early than estimate.

 

Thinking about getting the 7, just to downsize from the 6s plus. After a year, I've decided I just prefer carrying a smaller phone.

It took longer than I expected for this retort. Hands aren't the issue though... smaller & lighter phone just easier to tote around.

 

Any idea what it'd be worth to just trade in the device? I upgraded through Apple. Probably just hold my 5 as an emergency phone and try to swap the 6 while it still has decent value.

 

if you sell it 3rd party, probably a couple hundred, maybe 250? I'd check ebay.

my 6 64gb was worth $220 thru verizon if i traded it in prior to the $650 deal they have.

 

Agreed with this logic. 7+ weighs even more than my Nexus 6P, which I think weighs too much. It's fine in the hand, but it's a bit much for my pockets if I am wearing like sweat pants or gym shorts/pants. A 5.5/5.7" inch screen size is fucking great though.

 

I agree with the screen size being ideal, but there is very little I do that necessitates having it... other than streaming the occasional soccer game at work.

After a year with it, I've just concluded less bulky outweighs the extra screen real estate

 

I'm having an issue with my gmail account pushing to the Mail app on my 7+. It will only get my email if I open the app. It's the only email account on this phone and I've checked every setting I can think of. Anyone else run into this?

 

ever since iOS10 i can't stand the mail app so i moved over to the gmail app which pushes just fine.

Didn't os10 let you delete the stock Apple apps? Couldn't you just delete the Apple mail app if it's screwing things up?

Just ordered a 7 matte black & silver 128GB for the Wife & I...expected delivery is Monday

 

My 7+ matte black 128g came in the mail Monday, this phone is awesome. So much faster than my 6, battery life is great and I use my phone all day.

My black matte plus 128 gets here today, I feel like a kid on Xmas waiting to open his first gift under the tree

I'm too lazy to go back and look but what are some case suggestions for a 7+. I never used a case on my phone but feel like with the camera sticking out the back that I should get one.

 

128GB 7 - I went with Black matte for myself & the wife wanted silver

 

Demand for 7 was never an issue. Stores had them here right away. Got my wife one on release day just walking in to an ATT store.
