Speaking of apple, I need to hit them up for their one year warranty on these earpods. The connection isn't that great, sometimes it randomly pauses what I am listening to because it thinks the cord disconnected. #Lame
Also settings > battery. You can see the battery usage to find what apps are using battery. Also check the location services...gps on in apps will kill battery.
Anyone ever gotten an email from Apple saying that another computer/phone accessed your iCloud or iMessage account? Got two today, reset the password and security questions. Logged out of everything and then back in with the new password like they said. Got a message saying I had to log back in and change the password again because there were too many failed attempts to log in again or something. Am I being hacked by worst Korea?
It is china. Check your devices. It is an exploit in the older version of iOS I think. You will probably see a bunch of Chinese spam being sent.
I have some new earpods that have a lightning connector on the end & they sound pretty good, better than my last pair (which were the standard 3.5 mm jack ones).
Think I'll order the 7 through apple next week then sell the 6S I have on Craigslist or eBay. Hopefully make some money.
Ordered two 256gb 7+ this week. ATT offered to buy back my pair of 6's. What is the best way to make money on my old phone.
Try and do a warranty exchange through your carrier via phone. Tell them it's hard to hear people through the earpiece. You'll get a new looking one and might get more money if yours isn't in good shape.
I currently have the new every year plan with ATT and want to move that over to the Apple deal since it comes with Apple care. Also mine is in amazing shape and I don't even use a case.
Got a matte black 7 on Tuesday, just bought it full price. Absolutely love this thing. My old 5s would go down to 40% batter after listening to a podcast and streaming a radio show for 3 hours in the AM. Now doing the same thing leaves me with 90%+ battery life. I could go multiple days without charging this thing and I use it quite a bit. Insanely happy with this phone. Such a massive upgrade over my 5s it's insane
upgrading this week. should i do the 7 or 7+? reviews point to the 7+, but honestly my biggest concern is trying to workout with it. i guess with wireless headphones i could just put it next to me, but any input overall would be great.
As an owner of a 6 and now a 7 I just don't get what having a larger phone offers me besides inconvenience carrying it.
Do you watch movies/tv on your phone? Do you play a lot of games on your phone? I do neither of those so I opted for a regular 7.... I couldn't be happier with the size (no homo). I text, browse TMB and Reddit and every once in a while I place a wager from my phone, I saw no reason to add bulk to my pockets.
i am in the same thinking boat as what you just said. minimal games/some TV (or movies). just had a couple friends tell me they have the + and absolutely love it. pretty much the only reason i am second guessing it. i was all set on the regular 7
You're not going to be disappointed with the 7+ no matter what. Like, the only drawback to me is the size of it and I guess that it costs slightly more... it has a better camera, it has a better battery... it's a better phone. I just didn't need it. You'll never second guess yourself if you get the + .... that said I can't fathom you being disappointed if you just went with the regular 7. You really don't NEED any of the stuff the + has. I say go into the store, hold them both in your hand and make your decision with that. That's what I did and I said that the 7 would suit all of my needs perfectly.
I am so sick of Safari since ios7. The damn "a problem occurred with this web page so it was reloaded" crap is asinine. No fixes yet, like they refuse to acknowledge it. I'm sure ios10 is the same.
Can't remember, whichever one will get here quicker. I don't care about color cause I put a big ass case on it.
used this guide to set up my old raspberry pi as a time capsule server and now I have a network time capsule for free https://samuelhewitt.com/blog/2015-09-12-debian-linux-server-mac-os-time-machine-backups-how-to
