https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/atlantaunited/EN/buy/details/17AUFS Look at the ticket map, this is nuts. If most of the people show up for games we are going to have a packed house in the lower bowl and second deck. First home game is still ~9 months away.
Starting the season playing in Bobby Dodd http://www.atlutd.com/post/2016/10/...march-2017-georgia-tech-s-historic-bobby-dodd
Curious how they seat season ticket holders. Seems like MBS' lower bowl is much bigger. I also thought their field level was barely big enough to fit a soccer field. They'd have to work benches into the lower bowl like some teams do.
As someone who hasn't got season tickets yet but planned on doing so this is awesome. Now, if I'd already ponied up some cash for club level seats at MBS I would definitely feel lied to by the Atl United salespeople. I do like that it will be easily accessible via Marta. Given that their practice facility is up 75 in Cobb I'm sure the only other option was KSU and for many reasons I'd rather them play in Midtown, least of all not having to drive through "Braves Country" to get to a game way out there.
I'd think, for season tix, they will adjust the pricing accordingly/prorata. Or provide some options that will treat everyone fairly. Blank Corp doesnt run a ship that rips ppl off.
well I got lied to by the salesperson when I bought season tickets. I trust they'll do the right thing and adjust the pricing.
They're opening a Falcons/United store in Atlantic Station Saturday. Grand opening will have raffles, giveaways, etc. Will be nice to have a spot to go and look at the actual merch as opposed to just online. Everything I've seen at Dick's so far has been sit material.
Hopefully it lasts longer then the Mall of GA location. Have to go to Atlantic Station in about 2 weeks so will check it out.
Went to the new store last night. Not the biggest selection of merchandise (probably a 60/40 split between Falcons and Atl Utd) but pretty cool. I did, however, buy this from the mls website (it wasn't at the team store unfortunately):
Opted for 1st pick in Expansion Draft and Allocation Order. Get 2nd Pick in Regular Draft. http://www.espnfc.us/major-league-s...-expansion-draft-minnesota-tops-in-superdraft
I feel like getting the first choice of anyone we want in the draft is better than getting first choice of leftovers.
havent seen anything beyond spitballing on Dirty South Soccer. But list will be submitted December 12th.
dont think there is a clear cut Larin type this year, perhaps the kid at Duke. Maybe snowfx2 would know. Think UCLA has a few Boca has his eye on. Just happy we won the coin flip and got first dibs on 2 of top 3 options.
Rumors that were are adding this guy as a Left Back http://www.libero.pe/futbol-internacional/2016-10-19-juan-manuel-vargas-ya-encontro-club Played for Fiorentina
Depends on the contract. Played in half the games for a recently promoted La Liga side, Real Betis in 2016. If you don't sign him for a DP level deal then it seems like a good signing. MLS is less about who you sign than who you sign and what level contract they receive.
This is infuriating watching you guys do things right. There's going to be a lot of love for this club.
Looks good. Like that the adidas stripes are on the shoulder and not down the sides. I give it 4 out 5. Would have liked to seen black sleeves, black back and more/smaller stripes.
ATL UTD did such good job keeping the Home Kit from leaking. Not so much on the Away. Not bad. Like the badge, but doubt I will purchase.
