I'm in on this show, excited to see where the story goes this season. Darius was instantly amazing. The first ep is on youtube, by the way, for anyone wanting to start.

These little quotes by characters just passing through the scene are the best

 

Darius in the scene talking about girls calling you daddy was great. That scene was just fantastic

 

Watched the third ep over lunch today. Darius hasn't had a bad moment so far. God damn this show is great.

 

Incredible so far. May be the best thing on tv right now.

 

The Migos (+ Tanqueray) was a great cameo.

The whole drug deal scene with Migos was amazing. Loved how they played Shabazz Palaces as they're driving through the woods and Darius's professional attire had me dying.

This show really is great thus far. And really fresh feeling. Can't say I've seen anything quite like it really. If it's this good this early I can only imagine how good it's going to become down the road.

Tonight & next weeks episodes are directed by Glover. Should be interesting to see how they are after the first 5 had the same director.

 

I enjoyed the episode but thought it was a little disjointed "like 3 separate digital shorts stitched together" is how av club put it which I think is accurate.

 

This show is more about the social commentary of the individual situations the characters find themselves in, than any over-arching plot there might be

Vanessa: Weed. That thing you sell.
