    About time to see a concept of open air stadiums in the U.S. with roofs over the seats. So few and far between here and improve atmosphere a lot.

    pretty much pie in the sky right now..regents have to approve it (which they will) and McLane has to get the astros sale official (which should happen in a few weeks at the owners meetings)

    I would assume when the sale happens then they'll have a better idea of budget and stuff.

    from what I've been told, they're still 2-3 years from having the funding, but they own the land so really it's only a matter of time

    it's also why Baylor was so sue-happy when A&M was leaving....the media contracts are going to play a big part in getting this thing built, so they weren't going to let those go without a fight
