cold front blew in and got the temp out of the triple digits and into the 80's. couple that with it is the time of the year that my work slows a bit. this means I am back riding! 26 miles in today after a warm-up. legs said more, heart rate said fuck off. set a new record for my highest bpm today, 193 cresting a hill yeah, blew myself up big time today but it felt so good!
how far from the house were you? I did coming up a bridge earlier this summer and had to break the chain and be pushed back (about 2 miles)
I was in my bike shop. I was just bending it back in place and was caught talking to someone and snap. I'm not super thrilled about it. At least now I can strip my bike and clean it all.
All of a sudden my rear while started to wobble really bad. It was making some weird noise so i took it to my bike shop 3 fucking broken spokes. 40 min and $30 later I realized why my last two rides had sucked so much. FWIW this was my first time getting a broken spoke so I had no idea what was going on with my wheel. On a lighter note can someone talk me out of going get a shitty McDonalds type fast food meal. I haven't had one nor a soda in about 10 months and I kind of feel like getting one.

Did 20 today and I think I put in 45-50 last week. Training for a half marathon so most of my cardio is running right now.
Just moved into my house. I have 60 days until ironman. I am so screwed you'll see a lot of hours over the next couple of weeks.

they are pretty dependent on your body type and what kind of riding you are doing, and they can be super costly (these are all I wear for example http://shop.craftsports.us/1902587-tech-bib-shorts-m.html). you should just go get a pair of padded shorts or bib at your local bike shop, no need to go expensive for your first pair so you can keep it under 50. You should notice the comfort difference right away though.

Unfortunately I haven't riden in a couple of weeks. Put cycling on the back burner for the 1/2 marathon training should do a brick or try to get in 25 tomorrow
a.tramp you talked me into it I'll do 25 on my bike tomorrow instead of my 4.5 mile run. I figure 90 min on a bike would be similar to 35ish running
the rider behind me in my group ride hit a dog and crashed. Killed the dog, rider was fine. I've been puttin in some serious saddle time this week
I just requested to join the Strava group. I am assuming the one with texaspride on the pic is it? I logged 21 miles tonight. This week I am at 50 so far. Going to keep pushing it. Also I am only eating Soylent this week to cut some calories. Interesting stuff. Lots of fiber for sure.

Mostly in Plano right now. A buddy just got his bike tuned up and we will start planning some weekend rides. Plano has two big trails down the middle where they have the power lines. I am riding mostly in those areas.

The shitty Four Points. I stayed there every time I went to Culver. Also please do not judge me but I grew up going to Round Table pizza as a kid on my birthdays. So I would hit up the one down off the PCH near Hermosa Beach. I love that area and am so jealous you get to ride under the LAX departure area. I didn't get 25 but I got almost 17 in today bringing me to 70 for the week. My goal was to hit 50 miles this week. Got that and some extra.
No judgements on Round Table. There was one in a mall I used to grab a slice at as a kid. If there was one close to me I'd probably hit it up. I love my ride it's about 20-22 miles of the 25 along the water.
