That's such a terrible move if she follows through with it. Just look at the numbers. Even though the twins are starting to turn on Austin, he will never turn on Liz. Vanessa is #4 by a mile in that alliance. Then you've got Meg/Steve and JMac all by himself. She aligns with JMac for Final 2, deals with Meg/James for numbers, and goes after the Austwins. Fuck Vanessa going around threatening anyone who even disagrees with her that they "lost her vote." The rest of the jury would respect the hell out of that move, and she'd win in jury against anyone.
She's been preparing her nomination speech today and is going to make it like Austin's last week...he is helping her.
Austwins are climbing fast up my hate list. I will hate it if any member of "Austin's Angels" wins this season.
Can you imagine if someone from here got cast on BB? We'd collectively produce the most strategy ready player to ever enter the house. If it were me... 1. I hate the fact houseguests feel the need to come up with retarded names for their alliances, but I'd find a way to make sure mine was "TMB" for short. 2. My DR would be talking directly to you guys. Fuck the rest of the viewing audience. 3. If someone is plotting on me and I wasn't aware, I'd expect a plane flying over the backyard with a banner warning me. You'd all be reimbursed in full and flown by me to Vegas for a weekend of drunken debauchery after my victory. 4. I'd want my HOH letter to be written by the members of this thread using code phrases we have developed before I enter the house to feed me information. Also, the announcement would be hilarious: "OMG you guys! It's a letter from some random dudes on an anonymous message board where I spend far too much of my time!" Now that I think about it, I wonder if that letter strategy has ever been done before? It would be really simple to create a cypher someone with half a brain could read without needing a pencil and paper.
For those of you who think this season's gameplay is terrible (it is), and new season of 'Celebrity' Big Brother premiered in the UK. It's apparently Team UK vs. Team USA. To put the caliber of mental giants in perspective, Farrah Abraham is on Team USA.
I simply can't force myself to like these posts because this is such a terrible move. I could completely flip the script, increase my odds to make the Final 2 exponentially, and pretty much guarantee a win in that Final 2 if I make a big move every jury member outside the emotional basketcase will respect? Nah, I'm content in my cemented #4 position of the pecking order of my alliance. Game theory, bitches. Edit: Fuck it. Liking for the info.
She also has a deal with JMac and Steve to go after the Austwins Whether that comes to fruition, who knows If they get rid of James or Meg. That leaves the Austwins and Van/Steve(who are also with the Austwins)/JMac and the other between James/Meg You could have The Austwins against the 3 of JMac/Van/Steve....who knows----been drinking
I honestly forgot Steve is still in the house. Been drinking as well. Now I GUESS I could see her reasoning. Get the weaker Meg out, align with James for Final 2, create a four person alliance with Steve/JMac, and have the 4-3 advantage over the Austwins. Still think it's a better move to go after them now while you definitely have the power. Preferably get Liz out and its suddenly a different game with Julia and Austin not being remotely tight. Worst case scenario the twins or Liz/Austin stay, and Vanessa still has a decided advantage for the other to go shortly and be the only realistic lifeline for the remaining player.
Meg? Lol. This has to be a backdoor. Think you got to make your move now and get one of the Austwins out. You can't have an obvious 3 still in it this late in the game. Plus there's no guarantee one of your new crew gets HOH next.
Yeah, her and Steve are kind of sitting in the same spot. A five with the Austwins and a 3 with JMac. Depending on who wins the next HoH, if Steve or JMac wins they(+Van) could make a big move to go after the Austwins...
Sure, they COULD, but, we've all watched a lot of BB. You make the big moves when they are available. You don't hope for an opportunity down the line. Especially if the majority of the house if going to be behind it. It's similar to people agreeing to be pawns and it biting them in the ass in the long run. Vanessa is stuck right now. She doesn't stand a chance to make it to Final 2 where she currently stands. If she used this HOH to shake up the entire house, then there is no way it could negatively impact her game. Far from it. Go after Austwins (Liz #1) now and... 1. The relationship between Steve/JMac is not impervious. Far from it. She could also easily play both sides where James/Meg and Steve/JMac are going after each other rather than her after the Austwins are eliminated. She would hold the powerful swing vote. She then sides with who in the final four stays and it's 2-2. 2. Only people pissed about the move are a maximum three votes. The rest would vote for her because of it. 3. Once there is only one of the Austwins left, that person is going to be forced to hitch his/her wagon to Vanessa. She could do with that whatever she likes. Honestly, this is why I really enjoy this show. It's the most cerebral reality show on TV when the producers step out of it.
Unless she is lying to everyone then Meg is her target. I completely agree that putting up the Austwins this week would've been the most beneficial to her game, EVERYONE outside of the Austwins would've backed her up on it as well and would've gained jury votes at the same time. She thinks she's an amazing game player but truthfully she is far from it and one of the worst i've seen.
I have to disagree with most of you. Her nominating James and Meg while targeting Meg is her best move. If she nominates the Austwins, she has 2 people playing for HoH next week that will be coming for her. And no matter who she would be nominated with, would probably be voted out. With targeting Meg, she is hoping that James, a much bigger threat to win comps, will side with her vs. Austwins going forward. She knows that Austwins HAVE to be targeted next week if the other side of the house wins, thus keeping her safe from that side. By not nominating Austwins, she assumes she is safe next week from their side as well, if they win HoH. At this point, unless you have a solid alliance, guaranteeing your safety for another week is vital.
I think that's easy to happen in the house just because of the boredom and the amount of time spent with people while locked inside. At least he's not GinaMarie
I think she will put up jmac when james pulls himself down. I think the better choice is liz because jmac, steve, and james would vote to send her home, thus destroying the austwins alliance.
I was sober last night. Was on mobile and didnt want to type more than necessary. Still think my op was pretty clear.
I think the move now is for Julia to go up as a pawn and they will vote Meg out.....pull James in with Steve, Vanessa, and JMac and if 1 of the 3 guys win HOH they put up Austin and Liz and flip the game.
If Julia goes up Steve & JMac would be idiots to not vote her out. Julia is a number for the Austwins..not them
Liz needs to go before Julia. When Liz exits the game, they can pull Austin and Julia apart and really shake this all up.
WTF was with that nom speech? "A king isn't worth much without his queen." Vanessa, sweetheart, I hate to break this to you, but the king is worth the entire game with or without the queen on the board. Stop trying to be witty.
I think Vanessa knows that she is #4 in that group. If they vote out Julia it would be easy for Austin to pull James and Meg in. Vote out Meg and you have a 3 on 3 situation with the Austwins not aware that it is 3 on 3...James would be the wildcard.
