Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Dortmund is running away with this thing. Thankfully, bayern is within striking distance of 3rd. Cologne sacked their GM this morning.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Since their only loss of the season in the opener to 3rd place Leverkusen, BVB has just one draw (against Hoffenheim), and have won every other game. All but one of those wins have been by +2 goals. Amazing considering this could be an all-time high with parity in the BL with teams like Mainz, Hannover, and Freiburg fighting for a European spot, and Stuttgart, Schalke, and Wolfsburg at the bottom of the table so far.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread after today, dortmund is 13-0-1 since opening day. im slowing becoming a fan of the bvb
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread gatdam, hummels goal today v nuremberg off a set piece from midfield was BEAUTIFUL. perfectly timed run, header into the far side of the net. set piece came from around mid field, straight to hummels forehead. beautiful.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Icon updated to reflect the leader. Friday 12/10 Hannover vs. Stuttgart Saturday Hoffenheim vs. Nurnberg Koln vs. Eintracht Frankfurt Hamburg vs. Bayer Leverkusen Bayern Munich vs. St. Pauli Kaiserslauten vs. Wolfsburg Borussia Dortmund vs. Werder Bremen Sunday Freiburg vs. Borussia Monchengladbach Mainz vs. Schalke Then one more week of games and the winter break starts.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Dortmund/Sevilla on GolTV tmrw. Big game for Dortmund to get out of the group. @ Sevilla but Sevilla playing like shit. My new favorite German team this year since Wolfsburg have become boring to watch. Only seen them a few times this season but love the way they play.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Yea, I think they've already surpassed Bayern Munich's 2005 pace. They had set the record for points through December and Dortmund has passed that by 1 or 2 with a couple of matches left in the month.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Last weekend of games before the winter break. Friday 12/17 Hamburg vs. Borussia Monchengladbach Saturday Nurnberg vs. Hannover Schalke vs. Koln Werder Bremen vs. Kaiserslauten Wolfsburg vs. Hoffenheim Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bourssia Dortmund St. Pauli vs. Mainz Sunday Bayer Leverkusen vs. Freiburg Stuttgart vs. Bayern Munich
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Stuttgart v Munich I like both teams, but gotta root for the reds. Stuttgart has enough talent to find their way out of the relegation zone.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Ricardo Clark starting @ CB and Eintracht Franfurt beat Dortmund today 1-0. BVB's first BL loss since the opening week of the season.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread YESSSSSSS fuck Dortmund. Now, my luck, Bayern will lose as well and this weekend will have accomplished nothing.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread 2 teams combine for 17 goals in 4 days. Both backlines just a disaster. Bayern took their chances better today and win 6-3 after Stuttgart tying it at 3 with 10 men in the 80th minute.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Back from the winter break and a great game for Friday. Friday 1/14 Bayer Leverkusen vs. Borussia Dortmund Saturday St. Pauli vs. Freiburg Wolfsburg vs. Bayern Munich Werder Bremen vs. Hoffenheim Nurnberg vs. Borussia Monchengladbach Stuttgart vs. Mainz Schalke vs. Hamburg Sunday Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Hannover Kaiserslauten vs. Koln

Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread The machine back at it today. 3 mistakes by Leverkusen to start the 2nd half and 3 goals. Can't see them blowing this lead how they're playing.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread was watching the first half but had to leave at halftime, of course I missed the best part.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Gotze is a phenomenal talent, could definitely end up being better than Ozil or Kroos.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread No. Absolutely not. Did he take one today? I was busy following the Wolves game. Also, Stuttgart may be beginning their ascendancy to the top half.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Yeah. I slept in and missed the 9:30 games but said he missed a penalty. Grafite missed one too though.

Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Bayern, Schalke, Duisburg, and Energie Cottbus all reached the semis of the DFB Pokal.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Dortmund suffered a blow when Shinji Kagawa broke a bone in his foot in the Asian Cup and is now out for the season, though they do have Mario Goetze ready to step in. Friday 1/28 Bayer Leverkusen vs. Hannover Saturday St. Pauli vs. Koln Wolfsburg vs. Borussia Dortmund Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich Nurnberg vs. Hamburg Schalke vs. Hoffenheim Kaiserslauten vs. Mainz Sunday Stuttgart vs. Freiburg Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Borussia Monchengladbach
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread The Jap was having a breakout season. Goetze though is going to be filthy, and has moved from the wing to CM with Kagawa now out.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread No I know he was, kid has 8 goals from a midfield spot, pretty legit in bundes play I was being sarcastic / jerking fifas rankings. But I guess it's tough to properly rank someone making a debut in bundes
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Didn't notice but it's mostly been cup ties last couple weeks and don't really follow the Pokal. Hopefully stays healthy. Makes Bayern a contender in CL.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Huge fixtures today and tomorrow. Schalke goes to Dortmund and Bayern has a chance to move to 2nd with Leverkeusen at Nurnberg and Bayern at Cologne. Bayern holds the GD (17 to 12). :ohholyfuck: at Dortmund's GD of 34!!
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Rarely get the win at Köln. Just trying to hold onto to third at this point. More injury woes, the loss of van Bommel, and trying to work in Gustavo will make this a challenge as the season progresses towards the finish line. Not a fan of Dortmund's coach, but they are a good sqaud there. Were most improved last year and just took the next step. Local support is top notch in Europe. If Bundesliga had even half a way to get their teams on televisions across Europe and beyond, Dortmund would have a real chance at moving up in the footballing world, but as it stands, they'll be good for one more season at max before best players are redistributed.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Cannot emphasize enough how much I want Sahin for Bayern. Kid is ridiculously good.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread i find your emphasis to be insufficient. if you must know. in other news, bundesliga seems to have the best crowds in my limited survey of soccer. espn3 on xbox. where do you rank the league quality vs PL, La Liga, serie a, france, etc.?
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread Bundesliga has the highest attendance in the world and the best stadiums. Although some EPL teams are limited by smaller and older capacity stadiums, but there's some BL teams that could fill bigger stadiums as well. Also, they're the only big league that allows terracing, which creates even better atmospheres. Top-to-bottom, probably the most parity of any league in the world. They just need another team (along with Bayern) to make a deep run into the CL, Schalke being that hope this season.
Re: '10-'11 Bundesliga Thread 1. EPL 2. La Liga 3a. Serie A 3b. Bundesliga 5. Ligue 1 Then who the fuck knows. Honestly, Eredivisie (Netherlands), Portuguese Liga, and Super Lig (Turkey) are making strong pushes behind Ligue 1. Ligue 1 is barely hanging on to their Big 5 consideration. In terms of financial stability, Bundesliga is the best run league. Maybe not the most profitable, but the most efficient. I think Germany has the craziest fans outside of South America. I would love to catch a game at any Bundesliga stadium before I choose to go to any other league game.
