Say what you will about Baba but first clean sheet in a long time and Ivanovic was not in the lineup....

Soooo lots of rumors flying that Hazard is as good as gone. Seems like some have legs, too.

His dad had pretty glowing remarks about Mou only two weeks ago and he also signed a new deal this summer. Could be some fire here but whoever wants him would have to pay out the ass to get him.

I'm more talking about the effort he has given while playing. Hazard for Bale + 20 million?

Hazard is having a rough patch. Madrid need a summer marquee signing. Hazard is benched for one game. Rumor writes itself

Signed him to a new contract this summer so I would expect he's worth a MINIMUM of £125m to us.

Much more likely he plays one of the next few games, has a good game soon, gets back to being hazard and everyone credits mourinho with lightning a fire under his ass

I have been using reddit to find solid HD streams of almost every game I've wanted, but it's blocked at work. Can anyone do the digging? https://www.reddit.com/r/soccerstreams/ should have it.

Zouma at RB, Ramires/matic pivot with cesc at #10 and Willian/hazard at wing

Interesting that RLC is not even on the bench and he went with mikel instead

I've been posting the tv schedule for all the CL matches in the CL thread. You aren't on tv today. Best bet is streaming or checking out FS+ and hope to catch some on the Multimatch90

Think I'd rather have Hazard but definitely not the current version, he's been ran into the ground.

Nice goal by Cahill. We've played better at times down a man. Matic has been bad all season.

Who else? Rahman looked awful when he played

We didn't improve our team at all in the offseason but we downgraded BADLY at backup fullback and striker (drogba is better than falcao and remy) and begovic has played well but he is not as good as cech

Added Pedro does next to nothing because Willian and hazard are still our best wingers and we need one of Oscar/cesc to make plays. Preferably Oscar

Mourinho's decision to build to team around Oscar as a #10 is looking flawed but the player personnel decisions made this summer left us without a backup plan at almost every position on the field

I used to think you guys were geniuses by somehow turning a profit on big name players you barely used but now that has gone the other way. How a team can spend so much money on players in their primes only to then loan and/or sell them before giving them a proper chance to prove themselves is mind boggling. De Bruyne, Cuadrado, Salah, etc. Craziness.

Also mourinho should just go to press conferences and answer every question with "I cannot answer without possibly violating FA rules" instead of making the same complaints over and over again. Would honesty be better received at this point

are we going to act like Cuadrado or Salah ever had a good performance in a Chelsea shirt? De Bruyne started the first match of the second Mourinho era but something happened after he played rather poorly in that match and I'm not sure what it was. Didn't seem like he thought he should have to work for a place in the team.

Cuadrado was terrible and had ample time to show something positive last year. Salah never played much, honestly not sure why we bought him. Who knows what happened with De Bruyne and Mourinho.

I'm not upset about getting rid of Cuadrado or Salah. You can interpret that however you want. Felipe Luis was the biggest error IMO.

Performances are improving incrementally but the results are the same. Good lord do we need to sign at least one, maybe 2 full backs in January, another midfielder, and a proper back-up striker.

At least it was the League Cup....

Also, Cesc shouldn't see the pitch again until the ship is righted.

    Bego

    Dave - Terry - Cahill/Zouma - Baba (i guess)

    Matic/Mikel - Ramires - Oscar/Cesc

    Willy - Diego - Hazard

Today? (Ramires and Mikel w/ Oscar at the 10).

Most of last season was Cesc and Matic in the pivot w/ Oscar as a 10.

I've always been under the impression that the pivot is the 2 deep lying midfielders in a 4-2-3-1...could be mistaken though.
