Caught a few min in the break room at work including that goal. Glad this game isn't tomorrow and ruining my Saturday
Oscar can't start 3 or 4 straight games. Matic, Ivanovic and Cahill should just be replaced by youth at this point. They are awful.
Remember when we were dangerous on set pieces? Willian is good when there's an opportunity to shoot but below average at corners.
Cesc for matic and Michy for oscar. Switch to a 4-4-2/4-2-4 and start taking some chances. Starting next game Alonso and azpi have to be the fullbacks. If Alonso can't beat out Ivanovic after 2 weeks than he is the worst signing of the window
Probably not how we drew it up in training. People always talk about Cahill and Ivanovic as veterans but they have always been shit defenders without Terry to organize everything and bail them out
Ivanovic and Matic battling for worst player on the pitch with oscar a close 3rd. We sure mourinho isn't at the end of the bench?
that free kick by Fabregas was so bad omg. If they aren't even going to provide veteran leadership/savvy then we need to sit Ivanovic, Cahill and Matic/whoever else. Let's get youth in and build for the future. We aren't winning shit with these losers in our starting 11. Cahill leaving his zone with 4 guys to stand next to Luiz who is already marking the guy in that space is just baffling. and Just fuck Ivanovic are we seriously going to have to watch him again all year?
There's zero leadership without JT. Ivanovic has been at the club since fucking 2008(way longer than anyone else in the lineup) yet provides no leadership and is a pussy with his pathetic diving(which does nothing to inspire the team). Fabregas is too marginalized at this point to lead and while Luiz showed some signs of it before Mourinho came back he's too new with this group.
It is a grainy photo, I took it for one of those "as the pass was made" snapshots. Can fully admit being wrong on that one.
Apparently roman held meetings until 1am after Liverpool because he is concerned. It would be nice if they just gave a manager his top transfer targets for once. It seems like we spend 80 cents on the dollar every year. What would cost a dollar instead is 80 cents per year for 3 years. It costs us more money in paying fired managers and selling shitty players at a cut rate fee instead of doing it right the first time
Yeah I don't understand why they expect different results when we trot the same players out and haven't done much to address our major flaws heading into the season
