We bought Cahill for £7m (good piece of business). If we agree to 34m and it is a completely anticipatory buy (in regards to JT and Cahill), that's pretty disappointing. Even if he is English, I'm not down for Andy Carroll inflation.

Sounds like Chelsea wants to get him a work permit and keep him at cobham and that is the holdup I would assume that like RLC and traore he would train with first team but play some u21 games. Going to be hard for traore or Kenedy to get games unless we sell cuadrado which is very possible
No one really knows. He was sold by fluminese to an "investment company" which always gets sketchy. Luckily for us we have a lot of people that we deal with on a normal basis on the fringes of the football world I think that has something to do with it but I don't know if the delay also is being effected by us wanting a work permit. Under the new rules I don't see how he can qualify but we will see

He is a tad more direct/better in the box than Willian but I don't think he is a better player than Willian and I think that role can be covered by Moses/traore so I agree To me, our biggest objective for the summer should have been upgrading mikel/Ramires. When they were both out there it was nerve wracking yesterday and all last season. Mourinho talked him up but i sense that he doesn't think RLC is ready to backup matic and I don't think mikel can do anything more than kill a game for us at this point
He already did that at fiorentina. He's going to do well in Serie A for you guys. Much better league for his skill set
He started off well in Serie A until teams realized all they had to do was shut him down and Fiorentina wouldn't do shit. He was still good, but just came down to life. It will be much harder for teams to do that with the talent and speed at Roma.

i hate seeing ramires over oscar or even moses but Jose has a boner for ramires' work rate and ability to track back. Traore and RLC dont make the bench as expected
