If I am hazard and courtois I team up and agree to sign new contracts based on their views of the transfer business done this upcoming summer and spell out what they feel like should be done. Chelsea have always been a club of player power. I think Roman wants to change that but our squad cannot cope without hazard. We could get over losing courtois but I don’t think we could replace hazard even if we got £200-250m for him and spent it all.
With United purposely stepping away from the Sanchez competition, I really hope we can poach him from City. It seems our interest has dropped off considerably though. I remember a decent number of rumors over the summer but haven't heard anything since January. Conte's recent words saying City are the favorites read to me like attempts to motivate Abramovich. Maybe we can get him this summer either way.
United haven't stepped away either. Not sure where he heard that. City are the ones reportedly close to giving up because their valuation of Alexis is lower than what Arsenal are asking for.
We need to just play some of the youth. None of these players have any form and don’t really go for it. Give me musonda or really anyone with new ideas. Cesc needs to stay on the bench as does bakayoko. Give me kante and drinkwater in a 2 man.
Club needs to make a statement in the transfer window. I realize we bought Morata this summer, but it was necessary as a replacement to Costa. We have to do something on the right side, we need an upgrade.
He at least showed flashes on offense. I didn't even realize Bakayoko was on the pitch until he drilled those two shots over the bar at the end of the game.

Things rarely improve in January and I’m almost always against January signings but if we don’t sign a legit option in the attacking midfield and/or striker I worry that we could get squeezed out of the top 4. 3-5-2 only works against top clubs that we want this kind of result/a lucky 1 goal win and needs to be scrapped. We need to scrap the 3 man back in general. Try a 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1. I like the 3 man D if you have good wingbacks. It was effective for us last season because no one in England was used to it and didn’t know how to defend it. We need players and I think that is obvious. We don’t have the squad of either Manchester Team but there are still some things that Conte could try. He talked this summer of being ruthless.
