Moses not knowing when he has to report back to training or who would even tell him that information is simply remarkable. The damage to the chelsea brand of this embarrassing summer is probably far more than the cost of firing conte/hiring Sarri a month ago.

I honestly think that this is the most embarrassing episode of the Roman era. Most people would probably say the 16th place end to the mourinho era but there were a lot of bizarre events starting with Eva and some bad luck that lead to that momentum going downhill so quick. This is just the club choosing to completely embarrass themselves to save MAYBE £3-5 million. Just no excuse for not having a manager. Who other than the russian will actually want to come here? Do they think this is going to convince hazard he is in the right place to win a champions league?
Lewis Baker to Leeds. (Loan) Pasalic to Fiorentina (1 year, option to buy) I don't think we'll ever see Baker play in the first team. Also, sometimes I forget Marco Van Ginkel still plays for us, wonder what's going to happen with him.
Van ginkel had a really good season at psv last year so probably makes sense to sell high at this point. RLC is pretty clearly the guy that they want to integrate into the first team and rightfully so.

I like it. He’s young and looked good against Arsenal and united in Europe. Versatile and I’ve read numerous people who know way more than me say he’s a smart player. Kante and Cesc are the only midfielders I would say fit that bill and Cesc isn’t good enough physically or defensively these days. Need another midfielder because I doubt we give both RLC and Mount a real chance. MODEVIL i think it’s ok to respect and view Roman as an incredible owner over the 15 year period of ownership but see him as average moving forward. Hes basically trying to run the team like he’s throwing an extra £250m a year in but he’s not. You can’t run it like a club with a billionaire owner willing to lose money to win titles if you stop being willing to lose money. You need to run the club with a bigger eye on giving youth a chance and being patient with managers. He can’t have it both ways and that’s very concerning.

I’m actually ok with it now because I know he’s going to leave and I don’t know that Madrid want him. He needs to beg. Losing him next year for free would be detrimental given our lack of funding these days. Just sell him and replace.
Someone if going to set off the merry go round of keepers and it’s most likely Allison. Once Allison moves, there will be 3-4 keepers moving to fill voids.
I think the Allison to Madrid rumors are why courtois is being more aggressive in the press. I also think that Chelsea fans will be fine with him leaving if Allison comes in to replace him. Beyond that I’m not sure what we would do. I don’t like courtois flirting with Madrid at every chance he gets but I get it. The crazy thing to me is how Chelsea didn’t see it being an issue that their star young keeper who spent 3 seasons on loan in Madrid and left behind 2 children when he returned from loan was going to not want to get back to the kids at some point. When we picked him over cech I agreed at the time but in hindsight if I had known about the kids I’m not sure I would have agreed.
If RM won’t pay for Allison, then they will pay for courtois. Which will leave us head to head for allison.
I'm sure I'm being overly simplistic here but he's a wealthy athlete living in a great city. Seems like relocating your family wouldn't be the most difficult thing.
I don’t think he dates the mom anymore. It’s his ex. If she’s not motivated by money and wants to raise the kids in Madrid there is little he can do about it. Most people would relocate given his income and the fact that he’s living in a great city but there are multiple reasons why the Mom might not want to. Impossible for us to know enough detail to fairly judge but it doesn’t seem like they are moving at this point regardless of what the reasons are.
Wtf is this shit? Cech is old now (plus was on the downside when we sold him) and at worst we'll get a shitload for Courtois who we bought for 9 mil. I have zero faith in the board getting max value for Courtois and minimizing the amount spent on a new keeper but that's not the point.
