every insider we've heard from is saying bball isnt getting anything over this so lol right back at you
no i am just saying what a few credible insiders are saying about no vacated titles, postseason ban or scholarship losses
also receiving the NOA isnt a bad thing because we're all ready to get this thing settled so we can start recruiting like in year's past. even if all the insiders are wrong, this at least means the whole thing is starting to end one way or the other
kinda related to recruiting for the 2016 class since it's looking like unc will be in it for the big guys http://chapelboro.com/news/unc/chansky-unc-happy-with-notice-of-allegations/
so according to that article, every school should just make up bullshit classes that their athletes can attend because the the NCAA doesn't care about the quality of their student athletes educations, just that they are supposedly getting one...makes sense
if those classes are available to only athletes, it's a violation. if it's open to the entire student body (like in this case), it's not under the ncaa'a jurisdiction so i suppose if a school doesn't care about tanking their academic reputation (like unc has done), you can do this and theoretically get away with it as long as coaches aren't explicitly involved
I understand, wasn't calling you out or anything, just stating that the NCAA is taking an asinine position on academics and the idea of a student athlete that they love to preach via commercials if that's really what they think
Jon Rothstein Providence transfer Paschal Chukwu will take visits to Kansas, Nebraska, Virginia, and Michigan State, source told @CBSSports. #pcbb
Maker isnt even going to have to take classes. Seems like getting paid overseas would be the smarter move by his guardian.
Ed Smith has said Maker will be in school for 1.5 years, he's not jumping/probably won't be eligible to enter the '16 draft.
@JonRothstein: Missouri transfer Jonathan Williams III told @CBSSports he will make his decision on Saturday. Considering Gonzaga, Georgetown, and SMU.
I'm not holding my breath but if Copeland develops the way he should, he will probably declare next spring. JW3 would be a decent replacement. Oh well.
He's said what he's said many times, now if it comes to pass is another thing. But apparently his guardian has come to the conclusion that if he goes to school in December like the plan is, then he has to wait 1.5 years no matter what they want.
JayhawkSlant @JayhawkSlant 6m6 minutes ago Ole Miss big man Dwight Coleby has decided to transfer to #kubball. More info coming soon.
Not sure how he could call such a great coach and person and break his heart like he did to Tony Bennett.
@Rob_Harrington: From an all-around fit standpoint, I certainly could see UNC & Georgetown competing for Sacha Killeya-Jones. Congrats UNC.
Swanigan didn't actually decommit himself. Roosevelt Barnes called Tom Izzo and told him that Swangain wasn't coming to MSU
@Hoyas247: Per @coreyevans_10, Georgetown has offered '16 four-star PF Javin Montgomery-DeLaurier of St. Anne's-Belfield (Va). http://t.co/RcxsTKpEPU What do you know of this kid? Been climbing the rankings this spring.
Not much. I know a guy that scouts loves him more than Sacha Killeya-Jones. JMD gives a lot of effort according to him. Great rebounder.
One of the guys on the Hoya site who follows recruiting pretty closely talked bout him last summer and said we needed to be on him hard. He loved him.

I'm also not all that high on SKJ to be honest while I think Delaurier has turned himself into one of the elite 4's in the country. SKJ has more polish to his game and is taller, in every other category I'd take Delauier and in some cases pretty substantially. I think far too many of you have based your opinion of SKJ on his highlights, he's the type of player who can score 8 points and have them all look really impressive for a guy his size while a kid like Delaurier could go out in the same game and get 28 and not have any of those points look as good as SKJ's 8. I'd rank them Delaurier, Diakite and then SKJ amongst those three bigs.
He posted consistent things like that before SKJ decommitted, when the rest of our board going apeshit over him.
