Miles Bridges just announced a top 5: Put Michigan down right above us and I think it probably is about in order
he said unc and their lawyers told him we're fine on sanctions but then apparently said he wouldnt choose unc unless the investigation was settled so idk
Florida has offered 2017 Georgia Stars 7-footer Ikechukwu Obiagu ) also holds offers from Wake Forest, Virginia and Kansas St
North Carolina offers 2016 G Rawle Alkins TobiasFunke-Analrapist Shiggityshwo saw him play two years ago when he was a little under the radar and he played against Deangelo Russell and outplayed him in that game. Montverde won, but Alkins balled out. He's blown up over the last year.
na we'll probably get him, I literally know nothing, but we're at the tier of offers where we have a chance now
Kansas just offered 2017 PF Daniel Gafford ochosissoko Arkansas offered today too. Kid is going to be big time. He's from El Dorado, AR and had 5 double doubles in the Peach Jam this past weekend
of the 3 guys I've referred to in the last page or 2, Alkins is probably the biggest stretch because he's really blowing up but we've been on him the longest, along with Nova, he seems to have really bought the Oladipo pitch, and Chuck Martin is an east coast guy that's having some success over there (see: T Bryant). Saying De'Ron Davis is a lean our way isn't a stretch at all and Curtis Jones is a good possibility as well other than that, not sure who you're really referring to , nothing outlandish has been said
http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...ols-eyes-virginia-but-duke-likely-destination Welp, I have a new least favorite school.
Wouldn't think K would take a kid that spurned him out of high school, especially with the way they're recruiting right now. Although I guess he does have a cac big man quota he needs to meet.
@GoodmanESPN: Memphis Tigers grant Austin Nichols unconditional release. Virginia has inside track, source told ESPN. Story: http://t.co/OfabWWb2Co
@coreyevans_10: Seems like Kodye Pugh is beginning to see his body catch up to his ball skills. Unc has now begun recruiting the 2017 We R 1 wing No no no..
UK offered Dennis Smith today. He's awesome. Where is he leaning? Hopefully not Duke or else they're going to be ridiculous.
We offered 2-3 days ago as well. Kid is a force on defense. I've seen him compared to Davis and Noel in terms of his shot blocking. He's raw offensively though.
my buddy counted them all and i wanna say we have 21 or 22 offers out right now and more than half of them coming in the last 3 weeks
Eval period just kicked off last week. Lots of kids got exposure at the Peach Jam. We offered like 7 kids two days ago. Tons of offers going out right now from everyone. But yeah, UNC is like ucla in football. They offering errybody now
Johnson has targeted a lot of really high profile type players. Bold strategy but im not sure how it'll pay off. We've targeted a lot of top 10-20 post players. And have offers out with guys like Ferguson, Bolden, etc.
Dennis Smith Jr., the No. 4 player in the ESPN 100 Class of 2016 and No. 1 point guard, told ESPN he has officially cut his school list to Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisville, Duke, Wake Forest and NC State. "I felt it was the right time to cut my list," Smith said. "It was getting too much with all the messages, and I try to return all the messages, but it got to be too much. By cutting it down to these six now I can focus on them and they can focus on me. The time was right. I picked these schools because they all can offer me a great situation." The guard from Trinity Christian School in Fayetteville, North Carolina is a combination of explosiveness and skill at the lead guard position, and owns a college-ready frame right now. He dominates the game with power and finesse, and is a playmaking scorer. "My final list of schools all did a great job of building a relationship with me instead of just trying to recruit me," said Smith. Smith's list includes four Hall of Fame coaches, and he clarified what he likes about each program: On Kentucky: "Since coach [John Calipari] has been there all they do is win, and win big. Coach Cal puts the players first and he has coached some point guards in John Wall who I know, and Derrick Rose who I love to watch." On North Carolina: "I have a great relationship with Coach [Roy] Williams. He is a real funny guy and I love to kid around. He would rather drive to Fayetteville, watch me shoot free throws, talk and drive back, than talk over the phone. I have been over there a lot and like the guys on their team." On Louisville: "Another great coach in Coach Pitino, who has won a national championship and coached in the NBA -- he does a great job with point guards. I watched Terry Rozier a lot last year, he was one of my favorite players. I was impressed with his development." On Duke: "Coach K has the most wins in basketball history and Duke has a great tradition and an awesome atmosphere. At first, Coach K mentioned to me I reminded him of Kyrie Irving but after he saw me a couple of times he changed to Russell Westbrook. Also associate head coach Jeff Capel is a Fayetteville guy, and we have a great connection." On NC State: "Coach [Mark] Gottfried, his staff and the players are really down to earth and I really like those guys. They were the first real big program that offered me a scholarship, and that means a lot because they noticed my talent when nobody else did." On Wake Forest: "Coach Danny Manning has been to where I want to be -- an NCAA champion and the No. 1 pick in the draft. The program might not be where it used to be but it's definitely on the way up, and he's the reason why I'm looking at Wake Forest." As far as a timetable is concerned, Smith said he's 50-50 on committing early, and wants to take his official visits and have his home visits in the fall. "I would like to get it over with if I could, but it’s more important that I make the right decision," Smith said. In addition to being the No. 1 point guard for 2016, Smith is the No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina behind Harry Giles, who sits at No. 1. Smith and Giles have attended both Duke and North Carolina games together. "Harry is like a brother to me," Smith said. "We have known each other since the seventh grade. We have talked about playing together in college, but we both have to do what's best for ourselves first."
yea its sounding like that Duke package deal is happening this gave me some hope on Giles http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2015/07/15/harry-giles-team-usa-recruiting-nba-draft
