KU Rivals writer said he would be surprised if Ferguson went somewhere other then KU. The Porter recruitment is really interesting. He is at a local to KU AAU tournament this weekend and people thought that Duke and KU were early leaders. A lot of time and things can change there. The Porters are like the new Rush brothers as he has a freshmen or sophomore younger brother.
sucks about Davis. Dont blame him for not including us in the top 3 after our shitfest that is a basketball team right now Harry Giles leaving Wesleyan and attending Oak Hill for his senior year
Damnit. Was hoping he'd pop for Indiana on his visit. Would help us with Curtis Jones. Zack Norvill is a name that keeps popping up for Georgetown. I think Wake and Illinois are making a strong push for him too.

Danny needs to get one solid big man to commit to Wake, so he can develop him and show off to other recruits.

Doral is going to be that guy imo. And Devin Thomas should have a solid senior yr. He is hopelessly begging for Giles (who just transferred to oak hill).
@JonRothstein: 2016 SG Bruce Brown (Vermont Academy) will take official visits to both Indiana and Georgetown in September, source told @CBSSports. #iubb
Penn St just got a commit from top 50ish PG Tony Carr, whoa...chose them over Maryland and a couple other east coast schools
Mamadi Diakite is a Hoo. UVA currently with 4 top 100 players in '16, plus the Austin Nichols transfer.
Top 6 for this beautiful albino Hebrew Eric Bossi– Verified account @ebosshoops Arkansas, Baylor, Indiana, LSU, Memphis and UNLV make up 2016 PG Jaylen Fisher’s final 6 per @DreamBigHurd. Assuming lots of similar tweets
Very impressive recruiting for Bennett considering the shitty offensive system he employs. I wish Beilein could recruit like this.
I am of the mind that Bennett will open up the offense a little more as talent improves, but we'll see I suppose.
I feel like this "UVA's shitty offensive system" is the biggest myth in college basketball. They move the ball beautifully, have a ton of guys who can handle, stay under control, and generally end up with good looks. I'd imagine they'll only get more efficient once they get some decently skilled big men out there too. Yeah I get the pace of play complaints, which can magnify their cold streaks, but it gets overblown imo, and I just really enjoy watching a team who passes the ball so well.
As a fan of a team that runs an all hell broke loose style, I love watching UVA play basketball. The pace is going to be slightly sped up with the shorter shot clock, but that style is a lot more effective in today's game vs the teams that run the 40 minutes of hell shit we try to run.
You ever watch his Wazzou teams? Who cares, he wins big and is one of the premier coaches in cbb, enjoy it.
Pretty much my thoughts. I just think Bennett tries to pound it inside to much. If your going to play slow, I prefer a Beilein style perimeter oriented system.
Probably a top 3 of LSU, Memphis, and then Arkansas. Would be shocked if he didn't end up at one of those three schools. Likely LSU though He's really good, but is the ugliest human I've ever seen. He dominated at the CP3 camp last year Latest highlights:
He let Justin Anderson get an alley oop last year. I've heard whisper we might try that again this year.
UVA doesn't have a shitty offensive system. It's deliberate, and puts pressure on the defense to play out an entire sc. If you've got guys who can move well without the basketball and shoot, it's extremely effective. The best way to defend an offense like that is to pressure the ball up top, and dominate the glass, but it's easier said than done, because Bennett's guys are typically very disciplined and won't get rushed into early sets that aren't there.
