Soffner was so great today. 4-1 win vs Xavier, 2-1 2OT win at ND, 1-0 win at UNC (hadn't lost at home since 2010), 1-0 win vs Creighton (had won 14 games in a row), and a 1-0 win vs Georgetown. That was an absolutely incredible finish after going 1-3-1 in the final five games of the regular season. Todd Yeagley is so getting a thank you letter. 16-5-3 on the year and #8 on the trophy shelf

Georgetown's Steve Neumann is the first College Cup Most Outstanding Player (offense) from a losing team since UCSB's Drew McAthy in 2004.

Senior goalkeeper Luis Soffner named College Cup's outstanding defensive player.
