some sort of weird cosmic 2001 juju making Nebraska and CU both get big wins over Oregon in consecutive weeks 15 years later
It's fookin sweet for a Buffs game to be decided by Halftime.....In our favor... Go Buffs!!! Shoulder to Shoulder...
I'm glad to see our respective footballing programs have been reborn and look forward to restoring hostilities in the next years. Good day.
apparently we are playing you guys in a few years. talks of arrowhead and mile high. I'm excited about that
One of my good friends is a CSU alum. I've greatly enjoyed rubbing CU's resurgence in their face. Hope it keeps up for you guys.
Maybe if we keep this trajectory it will be different but I feel like most of our fanbase dislikes the games at Mile High. Playing only CSU there might have alot to do with that though.
yeah trust me i love going to boulder, oe of the best venues in cfb and I'm glad you guys might be back so it gets noticed
Some questions for you guys who follow the team a lot closer than I do... 1) How sustainable is the success that we've seen this year? Is CU set up to be this competitive for the next 2/3/4 years? 2) Is that Montez kid going to be a star? I can't believe he wasn't recruited by anyone. 3) Do you think this team can play in the Pac-12 CG?
Not bragging just proud, Lindsay toted the rock 29-219 and 3 td's, Our first 200 yard game since Old 22 did it in 02-03... 508 total yards...
Offense A- Defense A+ Special Teams F Special Teams was really the only reason that game wasn't more like 60-3. Team is really starting to play with some confidence and attitude. Loving it.
Congrats guys. Well deserved. Maybe don't let your coaches recruit their sons. Hasn't worked out too well.
Was officially the first time I've seen the buffs win in person since 2006. I think I'd see about 10-15 losses in a row. Great atmosphere in the stadium. Anyone got a video of that Gillam hit? You could hear the sound echo through the whole stadium. Guy played like the Addison of freshman year.
Given that Jay Mac hadn't struggled with punts up until this game (quite the opposite really as I've thought he has looked very solid), his problems made me curious so I went and watched the ASU punter from both end zones on two separate punts. This is just my opinion, but not only was he booting the shit out of the ball in the sense that he avg'd almost 53yds/punt (with a long of 72yds), but he was doing it in a way (or I guess you could say at a certain height/level) that made it very easy to lose the ball in what was probably already a difficult sky to track the ball in (to me personally, the early evening sky was always the most difficult to track punts in and was always made worse by stadiums turning on the lights long before they're actually needed). Bottom line is that I thought it wasn't completely on Jay Mac, and given how solid he's been otherwise (he's averaging over 10yds/return and we haven't seen the # of muffed punts we have in years past), I wouldn't yank him just yet. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see Julmisse back occasionally though since he offers much more of in terms of the opportunity for a big return. On another subject though...what the fuck is up with Lytle visiting Indiana? IIRC aren't his parents are the ones that made him come out and give his verbal in person / shake hands with HCMM while doing so because a "commitment is a commitment and you don't go back on it" or some shit.
Kevin Wilson puts some QBs into the NFL. That's all I can figure out. Also, agreed on Jay. Highly doubt that ever happens again. Or else Jay gets the hose again.
