Peanut butter and bacon is fantastic. I made some peanut butter and bacon pancakes and nutted a little after each bite.
PB on a burger is great if executed properly. For example, the Vortex screws it up with too much fat (PB, bacon, fried plantains) and no acidity or textual compliment. I think a PB burger with candied bacon and pepper jelly (or similar components) would be awesome.
Its not as bad as the rap it gets. Every so often I'll buy one of the spam singles in the grocery store and throw it in the frying pan to get a good crisp on both sides and make a sandwich out of it. Pretty good.
