We'll, if I have tickets, I may be able to give you one or two. I'm not sure yet. I don't have anyone that can go yet. I hope it's not too late in the day for enough heads up l. But, I'll keep you updated.
Heading to Denver next Monday-Friday for a work conference. AirBnb'd a place in Lodo for a good price. What spots should I hit for food/booze? Anything else of interest? Thanks gents.
Good bar and food, burger joint, bbq, good beer selection, anything really. I'm not a picky eater. May do a nicer dinner one night. I'll be solo.
Thanks gents. What's the best way to get from the airport to downtown? I see there's a train. Or should I just Uber?
if you're staying downtown, might as well take the train. Uber is good too. Basically $35 from DIA to downtown.
Sup bros. Thinking about packing up my stuff and moving up to the area after the first of the year. No real reason other than I'm tired of west Texas. I know no one that lives in the area. Who wants to be wtx's new BFF?
Sup gents. Was in your fine city for the past 10 days for a work event. Stayed right off of 16th street but was able to get into Lodo and a few other areas. Absolutely love the city and would love to be that close to the mountains. Was able to go hiking at mount galbraith by only using public transit and uber. Really nice hike with some good views of the city and not too crowded. Hope to be back again soon
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Nice move by getting to Galbraith. Always a solid foothills hike.
I'm in town and going to the game today, we are staying on 23rd and Osceola, where's a good spot/area to go pregame that's walking distance of the stadium?
You guys know anyone looking for a job? I own an insurance company down in littleton. Im currently hiring sales/service reps. Base salary, commission and bonuses. Its a brand new office as well.
The fiance and I have three days off this coming weekend/week (Sunday-Tuesday). What do we do? Make the trek to Ridgway/Montrose area (affordable, awesome looking airbnbs). Hit Orvis hot springs, Black Canyon of Gunnison and Telluride. Only thing is the drive is long. or Stay in Aspen area, check our Maroon Bells, hit a hot spring. or Go south to Creston/Moffat area for hot springs and views of the Sangres. We'll be leaving from Denver early Sunday morning and staying two nights wherever we decide on. We enjoy hiking, hot springs, and good food/breweries and are having a tough time making the decision on the best place to go.
I'm taking a solo trip up there next Thursday-Sunday, I just booked an Airbnb in LODO. Can anyone quote a couple posts with recommendations or something similar? I'm in this same situation for this coming Thursday-Sunday, except I'm just taking a solo trip on a whim instead of a work deal. If there are any more recommendations please let me know. Thanks.
Dunno which one you went with, but if you ever do the Montrose one I'd recommend including Ouray. They have two different waterfalls you can hike too, one of which you can hike a bit up and under. They also have hot springs, a brewery (which has a rooftop deck), and a several decent restaurants. It's also absolutely beautiful and is known as the Switzerland of America. My mom's side of the family is from Montrose and I just absolutely love that entire area.
Finally heading back to the greatest city there is this morning after being away for 3 weeks. I've been having withdrawals.
Anyone an Anthony Bourdain fan? Looks like I'm going to have an extra ticket to his show Friday night at the Bellco. Was going to go with a buddy but he has to travel out of town for part of the week and now won't be back Friday until after the show starts. Willing to sell at face, which is roughly $80. Tickets in this section going for $95-140 on stubhub but would rather sit next to a TMB'er than some random fuck Lower 2, Row 9 (blue section)
Dat snow was fucking awful. It took me two hours to get home (normal 12 min drive) and I only go from Mines to Morrison road on 470. Fucking 470 was shutdown and I70 was completely iced over and bumper to bumper. Fuck dat snow
damn thought my body had adjusted to the altitude change play softball, walk trails... then i played football with my neighbor and his buds damn i'm exhausted your boy was a ppr and yac nightmare out there though
Not as much snow yet as would be desired for good skiing. Vail and Beaver Creek opened up this weekend, but everywhere has limited stuff open which is leading to overcrowded runs from my experiences so far.
