I hope the live action movie explains how an abandoned lion cub was able to become a rippling mass of full grown lion who capable of ruling all that the light touches by eating a few fucking grubs. Such horseshit.
Watched the new Jungle Book last night and it was awesome. Totally ok with them remaking this if it's anything like how they did the Jungle Book.
Not really; insects are actually very high in protein, calcium and minerals. There are even nutritionists advocating for more insects in human diets.
But, since now it's ruined, a lion needs 10 to 25 lbs of meat a day in order to survive, let alone be that strong, so I stand by my assessment. There's no way he was find the amount of grubs needed, especially when shared three ways, to become the lion in which he became.
Wow page 2 and no one has shit on this yet? What a terrible idea. Original was a classic; don't shit on it. Go shock everyone and make a movie with an original story instead of yet another sequel or remake
Eh, Disney still does plenty of those; Pixar movies and their Animation Studio (Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, etc.) have both produced plenty of original and interesting films. I'm okay with the occasional cash grab with an old IP as long as it's good, which the Jungle Book and apparently Beauty and the Beast will be.
Tbh I'm more fine with it on a kids movie bc kids will watch anything. In general it galls me though. Such a lazy cash grab move
You never watched The Lion King? How much did your parents hate you? No wonder you're such a miserable fuck.
I was lucky enough to have parents who didn't give a shit about what I watched. Although I'm sure my dad was happy I'd rather watch a football game than a cartoon when I was 10.
Sorry you couldn't recognized the purposeful absurdity behind the breakdown of the eating habits of a cartoon lion. Let me guess, you don't get the shooow.
I watched Bevis and Butthead with my dad when I was 10. That was outlawed in my house but he was like mom's gone let's watch this shit
it's called King Arthur no but seriously, i don't think they are...yet. But they'll be doing every old movie soon enough until it's no longer successful
to think, I never got to watch football games when I was a child because I watched one of the most revered animated movies ever.
Can you imagine the scenes where Arthur is turned into animals? And that wizard's duel between Merlin and Madame Mim...
Sword in the Stone is the best Disney film by far have zero interest in whatever Jax Teller movie they've made
Actually insects likely account for the largest biomass of all insects so this would be incorrect. https://www.si.edu/Encyclopedia_SI/nmnh/buginfo/bugnos.htm
My dad let me watch football, went and played catch with me AND took me to see the Lion King. My dad sounds cooler than your dad.
It's not as good as the lion king but I'm enjoying watching the lion guard with my 2 year old. Looking forward to her getting a little older so we can watch the lion king.
Disney doesn't fuck up often. Always will give them the benefit of the doubt going into something they do.
