As a former 90% of the time support player, I'm personally offended when I see support players steal lane farm like that.
Just had an opposing PA go 35-2 on us. Check his profile, and sure enough, about 20 straight wins with a 700+ gpm average. Hard smurfs are so fucking lame. His teammates were actually apologizing to us after the game.
Just played as a solo offlane Omni. Got super duper farmed early vs dual lane PA/DS due to them pushing lane. Had gg at 16 min, then radiance, heart, scythe, BoTs2, aegis/gem, ate moonshard. Game went 60+ minutes because we couldn't finish huge lead but ridiculously fun game. We were saved by their ember being a complete retard. Then again our cm and Ursa were super bad http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2693254317
I miss playing ember He just sucks so bad against basically all of the meta cores this patch. His bottom 15 win rate matchups are like a who's who of the top ten most played.
Might have to start playing Earth Spirit some more. He is pretty fucking fun once you know what you're doing.

I've figured out how I've been able to increase my winning percentage lately. Open mic, encourage positive communication, let everyone know I'll play the poverty five position, assert that I've played with the jungling blood seeker/wraith king/drow/whatever before and that he is fucking solid. I make it a point to communicate what our future objective will be, then get vision around that area. Example, "DP is lv5 now. Let's group top after she gets the next rune and grab that tower." Even more important than that is making the clear, definitive statement that "nicely done WE ARE BACKING." Drop a forward ward on the way out and go back to farming safely. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Sometimes I pull others into the decision: "Tide, ravage is up soon, do you want to go top T2 or push down that last T1 bottom?"
I'm forcing my tards to coordinate. It's called mind fucking. You ever been mind fucked? I'm mind fucking you right now.
I was honestly shocked at how I recovered, since my early game was god awful. Looking at the graphs we actually had the gold advantage for most of the game. I think that's back to back drow strats that have worked for a TMB stack.
Wrote a blog that included the following things about secret/puppey TL;DR -They were extremely shady about money. (Puppey is kind of a part owner so a lot of it was his doing) They took their prize winnings and used it for superfluous expenses before they paid the players. And sans puppey they are all still owed a ton of money. -Puppey is a bit of a psychopath and there's a video of him slamming his headset into his monitor and breaking the monitor because zai and kuro were having too much fun during a practice. He told Envy he'd kick him if he ever released the video, but envy isn't on the team anymore, so... -Puppey lost a streaming contract for the team because he hardly plays at all and didn't reach his streaming quota when everyone else did. -Universe left secret so quickly partially because he was upset with how lazy Puppey is in general. -Puppey would literally suggest he and another team member fight if there was ever an argument. -Any time a player would text puppey or the official owner about money they would get nothing answers and just say the money would come eventually. (He screenshotted a ton of texts that are pretty damning) -They were promised monthly salaries which they never got. -They received no money from sponsors and it was claimed that the money the team received from them was again used for expenses. -Misery is apparently writing a blog about his issues with puppey and the org as well.
Favorite part is the subtle oh yeah secret hired a prom star thrown in at the end haha. Also Puppey's hatred of Slacks and shitting on people who like Slacks (I enjoy Slacks ftr)
Hot take: I grab glimmer cape on Warlock before even thinking about refresher. Also, I fucking love Warlock. Definitely top 5 favorite support for me. Greedy AF tho. Oracle Lion WD Warlock Bane/Omni/Venge in some order. Riki #1, but come on, he's really not even a true support even at pos 4.
Picking up an early save item on a support hero is no hot take imo- almost always a good thing to do. I've been on the warlock bandwagon almost since I started playing. Criminally underplayed.
Hide in backline, drop ult, mortal bonds Q, then channel slow, hide with glimmer while you micro your Lavamonsters. Immediately take tower. Basically, our game was pretty even, we won a fight mid 4 to 1 (lost our Jugg), but then marched down mid with Golems, took T3 and rax, picked off 2 enemies, while golems were taking T4s by themselves, then since no one died just hit throne. 35 minutes in too. Such a great hero and so good at completing objectives. http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2700310540 (also, fun round to play guess the lanes)
Anyone play centaur? I see he's gotten buffed like the last four patches and now has a 56% WR but still no one plays him. Tips and builds?
Depends on how you are playing him. If normal, tranqs into blink then whatever. Force staff, blade mail, aghs, pipe, etc. If you are a shitter, no blink, rush Heart.
I see a lot of people are rushing vanguard on him. If i was gonna build that and blink, which one first?
I'd usually say blink first on disablers/initiators like him, lion, slardar, axe, etc. If you want a bit more survivability besides the tranqs, maybe get the ring of protection and finish vanguard after you get blink?
Slardar is a better damage source with an ape stun. Abaddon, bristle, and tidehunter are better front liners to soak damage and run targets down. The hero just isn't strong right now given better options at his position.
