Deano having a shocker 1 soft penalty, 1 dive he called a penalty, and 1 blatant penalty he waved off
Still not sure why mourinho paid a world record fee to get him and play him in the pivot but if he starts behind zlatan or in a midfield 3 I think he has a good game. I think united can get a result if they buy into old school mourinho and grind it out but I'm not sure he is ready to have united fans already bitching about parking the bus
how does it take 90 seconds for Ashley Young to come off the pitch yet you blow the whistle right at the minimum of extra time?
Thought the same thing. At the very least aren't subs supposed to add 30 seconds? Guess Taylor was as bored as the rest of us.
I'd be pissed if I were a utd fan. To play so negatively against a main rival when you have a rich history of attacking football.
Was it fun to watch? No. Was I expecting something different? Nope. It just seems a bit naive to go into that game thinking that Jose is going to do anything other than what Jose always does in those kinds of games.
Looks like I was correct on grinding out a mourinho result but incorrect on Pogba. Not sure what united have to do but they must find a way to get the most out of him. Saw an article that mourinho saw him being what Essien was for Chelsea but essien played in a 3 man midfield with makelele doing a vast majority of the dirty work. Might need to move to the Midfield 3. United seem like a bizarre collection of talent at the moment. They have 3 good options at certain positions but 0 at others. A lot of good players but I don't see a collect good 11 at the moment. Will be interesting to see how they lineup versus Chelsea. You know he won't want to lose that game so I expect another very tactical 0-0 or 1-0 result in a boring game against Chelsea.

this is the issue with United presently LVG and Mourinho and Sir Alex are all so diametrically opposed in their player selections that the current squad is a mess
I mean he only had one offseason and it resulted in Fellaini. Just omitted because he didn't leave much of a mark on the roster.
Top o the mornin lads. I abhore the Bournemouth camera angle. I just want to pause the game, go into the settings and fix it.
I've watched them 3-4 times this season already for jack. Regardless I still literally have no idea what they have planned with the ball. So spread out it's a miracle they get a shot on goal.
Wilshere with Bournemouth is almost like an old international playing on an MLS team or something. More assured on the ball than anyone on his team and usually makes the right decision but physically can barely keep up.
"Bad news for Wilshere as he hurt himself with that challenge." What were the BetSport odds on that one?
Better stretch for us the past 5 minutes or so, I just have a sinking premonition that Lamela will be sent off at some point. Hopefully we score before that happens.
It's really gotta be tough as a fan to watch someone that just gets chronically injured like that. My condolences.
