liverpool is going to have a good season because i assume that they have perfected the lob the ball onto carrolls misshapen head technique by now
I know it's been said a million times but I really wish teams like barca and madrid had to play faggot teams like stoke
Spoiler I have grown to respect the way that Stoke and any team coached by Big Sam conducts their footy.
everton will be in the relegation danger zone, buy nobody, finish above average and then buy nobody just count on this happening every year from now on
All games or just games in London? I've read differing reports. I know the rioting has spread and will be disappoint if there is no EPL on this weekend.
1. Citeh 2. Man U 3. Chelsea 4. Liverpool 18. Swansea 19. Norwich 20. Blackburn i think spurs finish 6th
Reports seem to be London was pretty calm last night with the police presence. Think there are too many games and conflicting schedules to have a whole cancellation of the weekend. Let it be up to the club and the city. The main worry I imagine is protecting the fans outside the stadiums.
1. Man Utd. 2. Man City 3. Arsenal 4. Chelsea 5. Liverpool 6. Spurs . . . 18. QPR 19. Norwich 20. Wigan
There will be amped up security, but doubt that is a huge fear... English soccer fans typically hold their own.
As things stand right now... 1. United 2. Citeh 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. 'Pool 6. Spurs Relegated Wigan Swansea Norwich
Think the question is how far can the security go around the stadium to protect the fans and then what about the rest of the city. I think this shit will be pretty good and dead by the weekend in mostly every part but even 1 major incident creates a major black eye. What will change in a week? If they can't protect the people now how can they expect to a week from Saturday? Unless there is some valid infrastructure concern, think they need to have em.
Hoping the matches are cancelled so Arsenal can finish their transfer business. Also, Wolves and Spurs are shit.
1. Man U will win the league 2. Man City will finish top 3 but choke away multiple games to Man U 3. Chelsea will look old, Drogba will complain and Torres will miss 5+ chippies but they'll still finish top 3 4. Arsenal will Arsenlol enough games to blow a top 2 finish but still finish top 4 5. Liverpool will be one of the top scoring teams in the league....but still finish 5th
So many Stoke haters out there... Up the Potters! 1. Man U 2. Man City 3. Liverpool 4. Arsenal 5. Chelsea 6. Spurs 7. Stoke 8. Everton 9. Fulham 10. Bolton 11. Aston Villa 12. QPR 13. Bolton 14. West Brom 15. Norwich 16. Wolves 17. Sunderland 18. Swansea 19. Newcastle 20. Wigan
I think it will come down to the last week or so for Newcastle. I feel sorry for their fans. They could have assembled a pretty good team if they would have used the money they got.
Exactly. I'm bullish on Stoke because of my fandom... Newcastle hasn't done a thing to strengthen the squad, they've just seen players go. I don't see where they will get many points... I think 14-15 is their ceiling.
I like the Ba signing, idk much about Marveaux other than there was some injury concerns. Just thought they could do more.
ba has huge knee issues the rest of their signings dont do much for me, especially obertan it will be interesting to see how they do this season, but as it stands right now they cleared the drop only by 7 points and dumped their 4 best players
Norwich as high as 13 and as low as 20. City Chelsea United Arsenal Liverpool Swansfuck Blackburn Wigan
Sorry I don't root for a club with wealthy ownership. You're right, it's a waste of time. Sucks for the other 72 teams in league football that aren't privileged enough to be in the Premier League.
yeah, we have the squad to be top 4 this year, it will come down to whether or not we lose focus like we did at times down the stretch last year.
not to mention we should be adding Enrique pretty soon. think that will be a huge upgrade defensively, which i think is our biggest question mark right now
I am avoiding predictions until the transfer market settles down a bit in the next week or so. Way too many players coming and going for far too many clubs to even make a guess.
Barton is still on teh squad, and apparently practicing again with the first team. Cabaye is going to be good, and I think a few youngsters will show some signs of life(namely Vuckic)
