Aric Toler @AricToler 1h1 hour ago If you are a man born in Iceland between 1985 and 2000, there is about a 1/3000 chance that you are now beating England 2-1.
T. Scott @tscott_pt 3m3 minutes ago In fact, there may have been more preparation in Hodgson's resignation speech than his team tactics.
Loved that 2nd Italy goal earlier. Spain has collapsed around the ball on their own right flank, outnumbering Italy 7 v 3 but even with 4 players immediately around the ball they are aren't able to put sufficient pressure on and allow a perfect switch which sets up 2 on 2 (with Iniesta, Alba, and Sergio all visibly gassed and making no effort to get back into their own box to help) in which Pelle baits Pedro into taking an ill advised step towards the ball before dusting him. Textbook.

Rio Ferdinand last night saying it'll be a walk in the park lol https://twitter.com/Boxofficefooty/status/747542817493364736?s=09
at least you get a new manager out of this better than getting blasted by France and having to go through 2018 with Hodgson
know it's been posted, but that chant in the corner after the win was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in sports I think most def would have been doing the same thing to the TV
I do love all the people(Ace Boogie included) that got all excited after they beat Germany in a friendly when they scored 3 goals after Germany took out most of their starters.
Deli was pretty terrible too, he was played out of position to be fair. Sam Monjack @sam_monjack6 4h4 hours ago Dele Alli lost the ball more times (84) than any other player at the Euros. Good young talent but the hype is beyond pathetic
If Pirlo was fat and drunk and couldn't pass or shoot. Iceland was a more experienced team than England. Take Rooney out the equation and it looks like England is the new kid on the block.
Pretty much, take out washed up Rooney and there isn't a player on England that has had more than 2 good seasons(kinda debatable on Hart and Cahill but neither were ever great) with almost all of them 1 season wonders.
I mean they had Vardy didn't get enough play. Oxlade-Chamberlian and Welbeck hurt and no Walcott. USA Copa squad had more caps and goals than the England squad. Fucking Wondo has the same number of goals as the English midfield, all of them.
Why didm't Walcott play? Injured, or he just sucks now? Objectively speaking how talented is England on paper?
Ox sucks. Welbeck has always performed well for England, was a loss but not like he'd make them a contender. Germany is only missing Gundogan and Reus, Italy is missing Verratti, France is missing like 8 players.
Theo sucks. Hard to say how talented England is, they are loaded at striker(none played well though) but their midfield is a disaster. Definitely way behind France, Spain, and Germany, not even debatable there. Belgium is more talented too and Portugal. They might be on par with Croatia.
