Irvine Welsh@IrvineWelsh Every single bar in this small Brazilian town has Tom Jones blasting the fuck out off the juke box. Fucking brilliant. #ItIsUnusual #Cymru
Hell yeah Wales, ramsey and davies missing because of cards is ridiculous, hope they beat portugal so bad
Gonna need some Bale magic. The yellow card accumulation may be the biggest bullshit in sports, no clue why they'd want to see players suspended. Ramsey's looked like an accident too, Davies should have been sent off so deserves his.
so happy for you Taffy. I was in meetings during the game yesterday but a buddy was texting me during it. when that second goal happened I almost bolted out the door.
It would take both Bale and Ronaldo being suspended for this match for the morons in charge to take fucking notice of how absurd it is. 2 yellow cards over 5 matches is more likely than not to happen for players in combative positions on the pitch like center back/full back and defensive midfield. You are allowed 2 yellow cards in one match before being sent off, being punished for 2 over 5 is literally the dumbest shit ever.
Supposedly 17 players in the match today are on a yellow with Motta already suspended, that's just fantastic.
Fuck you. Fuck Marty Smith. And fuck Iceland. Hope France beats the shit out of them so I never have to watch what I just saw on ESPN again.
Thinking they will have a man sent off or what? Italy won't hold back on cards today, they are facing the best team in the world- only one match on their mind. They will deal with the ramifications if they are lucky enough to advance.
I'm nervous, but this has been a really good tournament for Italy regardless of the results from here on out. The proverbial playing with house money card. With a healthy De Rossi and Candreva, I would have felt a level of confidence. I imagine the Germans are nervous, though, they've done everything in their incredible history EXCEPT beat Italy.
To my eye they got lucky a couple of times already not to have somebody sent off. I think they'll play with fire and get burned.
Oh, I forgot about your silly calls for sending offs the other day. In any case, set for a wonderful match. Good luck whatever you call yourself these days @ cas
I really like the way they've played in possession. They are completely equal to this task. But at least a few of those challenges were reckless and you're kidding yourself if you don't think so.
Italy have been impressive this whole tourney. Expected Spain to have the ball and control the game and Italy didn't allow it. Doing much the same tonight.
Game requires a tad more precision than either side has demonstrated so far. First touch has been a problem a few times.
Yeah, awful. Low certainly got his tactics correct here tonight, Germany has done a fabulous job of limiting the balls in to Pelle.
