    GODDAMMIT

Had no luck getting tickets through the lottery rounds, so we changed our travel plans a bit to include Bruges and Canterbury and not go south to Lyon and Chamonix/Annecy. Got our plans firmed up, booked apartments, all set. This morning UEFA EURO Ticket office emails me to congratulate me on being the proud owner of four tickets to Ireland vs Portugal in Lyon.

Two years ago I had tickets to see Real Madrid play Inter Milan in Berkeley, and Ronaldo decided not to play that particular game. Now I've got tickets for a game I KNOW he'll play in, and I can't use them because I'm going to be in Normandy that day. FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

Hungary-Portugal, not Ireland. Can't edit, for some reason.

We're mentally invested in the changes now. Belgium and Southern England is a better trip than Lyon and the French Alps. Probably going to try to trade for tickets to something in/around Paris that fits our schedule. Or just sell them.

Ronaldo will be an old fat fuck playing for the LA Galaxy in a few years; I'll just see him when he comes up to Avaya.

Hungary and Tourrettes seems like an uncomfortable pairing. I'm surprised there are enough training grounds in the Paris area deemed worthy to host that many international squads. Unlike London, it doesn't have a top flight club every other block of the city.

I think Vardy off the bench for the last half-hour after Kane has battered a backline could see these results duplicated.

Yeah after 70 minutes of hell in a cell with 'Arry, all a backline needs is a gentle breeze to be knocked over.

He's got a little time to redeem himself, not that he will. If he had finished that though it would have been a perfect fucking ending, ugh. The hype would have been absurd if that finds the back of the net to win against Germany.

This attack is looking very potent.

All it took was taking off Lallana and Welbs and bringing on Barkley and Vardy

Even though those two played well, also

All Roy has to do is resist the temptation to play guys just because of their names and go with the actual in form players and England are a legit dark horse for Euro this summer. Too bad he will fuck that all up.
