Full Time and the Shamrock Rovers are in the group stage. Unreal that the League of Ireland would have a club in the group stage and the SPL has none.
I still don't really care if we go crashing out, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of our youngsters.
that was last year I think. we suck now (well, we sucked then, but it wasn't reflected yet in the standings). injuries also kill clubs like Rangers and us because of the lack of European quality depth.

The 2nd goal for PSG was awesome. Kinda like that team with Menez and Pastore. I think that they have the potential to be a good team again.
http://eurorivals.net/trabzonspor~psv-eindhoven-highlights-video-16-02-2012 it shows the goal i was talking about straight away. the commentary is turkish so cant help you there

It's worse when the commentator calls them 'Valenthia' all match. Come on man, you are English... just ignore the theta.
Retarded that the commentator pronounced Valencia like that the whole game, but couldn't properly pronounce any of the Spanish player's names.
Last 8 Athletic Bilbao Atletico Madrid AZ Alkmaar Hannover 96 Valencia CF Metalist Kharkiv Sporting Schalke 04
Yeah, the bias in America and England is stupid. La Liga is about to overtake England in the coeffecients. People don't realize that Madrid and Barca would fuck with teams in the EPL just as much as they do with the teams in Spain.
only the bottom in england is much stronger, its partially because the way the TV revenue is distributed, in the EPL its almost even, in lPD Barca and Real get about four times as much as the average
Yeah, I don't think that's really the point, though. The point is that Real Madrid and Barcelona have been put into an overwhelming position of strength relative to the clubs they compete with in Spain by the Spanish government, which would not be the case in England or virtually any other country. I dont' think many people dispute that they are currently the two best clubs in the world.
Pretty funny that the English teams drop and this thread doesnt get updated anymore. Anyway Bielsa is just Bielsaing again. Atletico Madrid 2-1 Hannover AZ Alkmaar 2-1 Valencia Schalke 04 2-4 Athletic Bilbao Sporting Lisbon 2-1 FC Metalist Kharkiv
Ah, I was wondering what Gooch's tweet was about this morning. Didn't realize they'd made it this far.
chelsea should at least try their best to make a falcao for torres (plus a little cash) swap because falcao is an elite finisher (especially from headers) and atletico is probably the only place that would take torres back at this point.
