Villarreal just dominated Leverkusen so I say they have as good a chance as Porto. Rossi is not their only player.
Have you guys watched Porto yet? There's a reason they're the favorites. They haven't lost in league play. Already ousted Sevilla, Moscow, and gave a good dicking to their entire group. Villareal got face fucked by Sevilla in del Rey and has dropped a lot of points in La Liga. I think they're the main competition for Porto but right now, I don't think they win Europa.
Also, if I had to guess on the semi finals match ups, I'd have to say: Dynamo Kiev - Benfica Porto - Villareal Could be any of those teams as champs. I'm not saying Porto wins but it's silly to think Villareal is that much better than them. Both teams are Champs League caliber teams this year if things fall a little differently.
nobody said that Villarreal was much better than Porto, in fact, you were the only here saying how Porto is much better than all the other teams left. All I did was point that Villarreal has as good of a chance as Porto.
Some beat downs today, looking pretty good for 3 Portuguese teams in the semis Dynamo Kiev 1-1 Braga Porto 5-1 Spartak Benfica 4-1 PSV Villarreal 5-1 Twente
That would be crazy if they had 3 teams. Would that be enough to propel them into 4th or 5th in the coefficients? Have to think Villareal is the favorite. Already knocked out 2 of the better teams in Leverkusen and Napoli, who are 2nd in the Bundesliga and Serie A respectively.
France is pretty safe at #5, but looks like Portugal will get to #6, which gets them 3 CL spots, 2 straight into group stages and 1 into the qualifying rounds starting for the 12/13 Champions League.
Benfica vs. Braga Porto vs. Villarreal Porto/Villarreal is a hell of a matchup. They're probably the two best teams left with Villarreal 4th in La Liga, and Porto in 1st in Portugal by an amazing 19 points ahead of Benfica. They've lost 0 games and tied just 2x in the Portuguese Liga this season.
Porto wrapped up the league 2 weeks ago. They're absolutely ridiculous this year. Hulk is my favorite player to watch at the moment. Killing myself if he ends up at Old Trafford somehow. I'd love to see him on any other EPL team because that appears to be his destination league. Not many players can outmuscle the guy, much less keep up with him.
pretty so far from Hulk and Falcao. Braga's left back has Wayne Bridge like ability when it comes to defending.
There you go Falcao. Nice little header unmarked. 1-0 Porto Just terrible defending from Braga in the center of the defense. How do you lose that guy.
Really hope Hulk doesn't go to Chelsea/Man U, Serie A, or La Liga. Easily my favorite player in the world right now. Falcao is pretty spectacular as well. You really can't hate Porto.
Fantastic year for the dragons. Can't wait to see what they do in the Champs League. Hopefully Villas Boas sticks around for that.
I think it's more of a testament to the stout defense of Porto. Sounds like the midfield was a god damn mess for both teams though. It's worth noting that Porto allowed only 16 goals in 30 games.
It was poor all around. Both sides were poor getting the ball into final third and into any type of attacking position. Braga was happy with letting Porto play the ball out wide and control the pace.

Watching CSKA vs AIK. Doumbia is hurt for 2 months so hopefully our sexy midfield can do some finishing.
Vaslui just took a 1-0 lead over Inter in the 35th minute. Inter lead 2-1 on aggregate but are down to 10 men. GK Castellazzi sent off, 22 year old Vid Belec making his senior team debut as a sub. Inter look like this currently: -----------------------------Belec------------------------------ ------Jonathan-----Silvestre----Samuel-----Jaun Jesus--- ------------Zanetti-----Cambiasso-----Nagatomo------------ ---------------------------Coutinho-------------------------- ----------------------------Palacio----------------------------- 6 defenders and a defensive mid on the field. Not good at all
