didnt catch the game this weekend but just saw the goal highlight. that was incredibly close to a PK/red card on the West Ham keeper. He came out and obviously had no shot and looks like he actually tried to pull Rom down. He definitely threw his arms up high into Rom's body. But Rom way too strong for that and went right through it. A lot of strikers would have gotten legitimately knocked down.
If not for Vardinho, he'd be getting talked about a lot more. Last week, one of the Liverpool homers on ESPNFC was talking about how Benteke was world class but Lukaku is nowhere close. He had no argument to back that up when the host pressed him on it.
dear lord with that 360 gerard (for those not watching this isnt a good 360. he got a hand to the face and promptly swan dived into a full 360)
I havent seen Creed yet, but apparently there's some kind of Everton reference or shout out in it. Thanks Sly!
Goodison is featured in it a couple times and one of the fighters is from Liverpool and is seen wearing an Everton kit as well as has the crest on his shorts/robe and his corner has it too
From what I passed on to Shaun "Yup. Fighter is Tony Bellew and he's a huge evertonian. That's actually his fight robes. They recorded that during halftime of the Palace game last year"
You can hear "Allez, Allez, Allez Oh" and "Cause we're Everton" quite clearly during a dressing room scene before the fight... It's fucking awesome .
Barca having a squad size in the mid to low twenties is very worrisome. We just have to pray for Messi to stay great forever and Neymar to continue his dominant form. Arda Turan can start playing for them soon so hopefully he balls out.
Just be glad they don't have a buy back clause installed like Barca and Madrid usually do when they sell young players to other teams in continental Europe. Not sure if they are allowed in England, but I think clauses like that are fucking stupid. It is pretty much a loan if the player ends up coming good at some point.
Oh, well that sucks then. I know release clauses aren't allowed in English contracts, apparently buy back clauses are. How much did you pay for him and what is the buy back price?
