I posted this on some fifa message board but no responded and it's really irritating me so hopefully you guys can help. "I play on a small standard def tv and when I'm on the career mode home page I can barely read the standings and I cannot make out the transfers on the side. The issue is that the homepage doesn't even fill up the tv screen (there is a colored design above and below the home page). Is there anyway to expand the homepage which would in turn make everything bigger?" Thanks
had a game for promotion to division 7 tonight... of course it is in the snow and bayern munich's keeper played out of his mind... fuck you EA
Ive had several. The defending is bullshit sometimes. Its so fucking hard playing with a lesser team.
they need to fix the fastest wiv the boll aspect of the game walcott with the ball getting caught by john terry wivout the ball in a dead sprint does not a realistic game make
i swear to god this game fucks up your inputs when you go down an early goal. not to mention computer defense flat out not pursuing when you are covering passing lanes and holding teammate contain.
I don't know how many times I've watched defenders run, stop, then start running again just to let the guy go right by. I dont understand that.
im getting the hang of it to the point where i can predict the computers' movements and tendencies on defense - and i notice that its dictating my play and making me do the same shit over and over time to move to online mode
Leeds is going to head back to the Championship 1 year after promotion. The cheap fuck management has doomed me to relegation. My entire reserve squad and 2 of my subs are 15 and 16 year old youth club all hovering around 51-58.
Yep I am doing it. Only accomplishment left for an outfield player. Only 931 more to go. Also fuck free kicks.
The best players under 25 with potential to be 75+ overall. You can copy and paste into excel so you can filter it down to specific needs. It is great if you are a smaller club and need to find a gem. http://www.fifafanatic.com/fifa-12-best-young-players/
Damn. Still haven't hit a single one yet. I've done everything that really matters to my playing style though, so I'm pretty solid on our Pro Club. Just need to bulk up my tackling stats now. I hate that you have to be a defender for all of those.
Oh yeah the defensive ones are rough. I set the formation up as a 1-4-5 with my pro at the back and turned off bookings; just went for it. Played a terrible side (Galway United in republic of ireland) and hope for the best.
Anyone having an issue with a rash of players getting hurt at one particular position in their career mode? I have 4 CBs injuried with a League 2 club and forced to play a CM back there.
I had to stop my Middlesbrough career and start one with a bigger club. Its so gay how you never get money. I got them into the Europa league and they gave me enough to buy maybe 2 average players.
Yup, switched from Leeds to Rangers. Buy the GK Smith from Free Agents when you start, is a $2,000 signing and is worth 7 million second season. Helps a little.
Injuries are much more frequent if you're simming. I'm not having many in my L2 Wimbledon career yet. What I did was put my pro on the team and sell him just to get enough money for a good scout. More interested in seeing how well the youth player progression works than having an authentic career.
League Cup and Johnstone Paint Trophy: where small clubs go to die. I should have lost those early round matches. Now have to play every Tuesday/Saturday for the month of October.
lol I'm gonna try an F.A. cup run only because it has the biggest payouts of the domestic cups. Fuck a Carling/Johnstone Paint cup.
Oh it is fantastic stuff. Extra time in the Paint after playing the league leaders and now 3 days later playing the team in 3rd with a date with the club in 4th to follow.
I am playing with Accrington Stanley. It is a challenge. The money sucks and the youth players are not very good to start out. I am going for all youth so I playing with a lot of low 50 and high 40 overall players in hopes that it will pay off if I make to the premier league in 4 or 5 seasons. Also cost more to sign youth. 40k vs 25k
Professional. Board is set to legendary. the league draw has been friendly so far. Played a league 2 club and a league 1 club. Sunderland is next and I will probably get it no lube style.
Started out as Leeds, got them to the prem and finished mid table and they were not giving me any money and kind of screwed myself by investing too much in a handful of players (12 mill to Odemwingie, doh) and was eventually going to be like 7 stars around 78-82 and all youth players so I bailed on them and took the Rangers job for awhile. Moving slower on the board now, but I miss Coutinho, Obi and Bakar. Leeds was turning into a monster.
Im happily progressing in my Arsenal manager mode, signed Gotze and Schurrle, sold off a lot of dead weight, brought in a couple of young players for depth, have a UCL group of Ajax, Werder Bremen, and Zenit, which is good fun, RVP broke his leg and is out for 5 months 4-1-4-1 -------------------------Schurrle-------------------- Ljajic-------------Wilshere-----Gotze-------Walcott --------------------------Song----------------------- Gibbs----------Vermaelen---Vertonghen-----Sagna --------------------------Szcz------------------------ dominant
Think I already said it but I'm managing Wimbledon, trying to restore them to Premier status. Hoping I get some deadly fixtures with MK Dons along the way. I'm only in November of my first year but I've signed up a couple of my academy guys and taken a few EPL guys on loan, as well as a Dortmund reserve. I'm on Professional with World Class board. Yields a lot of 1 or 2 goal games which feels realistic to me.
I like 4-1-2-1-2 , 4-3-3 and 4-4-2. Depends on how the roster is with regards to what kind of midfielders and forwards I have
Depending on the team I've mainly been using the 4-3-3 but dropping the center striker back to play a false 9. Pastore is racking up assists like that for me.
I get to see what my league 1 squad is all about. A date at Stoke on a tuesday night in the cold rain.
