Whats the best initial rating you have of a player you signed from scouting? I got a 16 year old striker that is a 67. All of my others are in the 50s.
I had a 70 keeper, 70 CB, 69 LM, and 68 striker in about 4 seasons. Other than that it was mostly 63-65. The striker was my first one that I signed and he was a 76 at age 18 when my career decided to not allow me to load it anymore. Fucking shit. The keeper was up to a 72 after 3 friendlies the summer I signed him. The transfer values for my youth guys were really weird though. I had guys 65-68 at age 18 who were valued 1.5-2X higher than their higher rated and/or younger teammates. Sold a 19 year old 68 striker for like 9mil pounds (first offer) while my 76 18 year old was valued at like 6.5mil and all the offers were in the 5.5-7 range.
question, how do you get team chemistry on ultimate team to be so high? i can never get it over 50 and then i see kids with like 95 chemistry

You get chemistry from having players in their preferred position, formation as well as having players from the same league, team or country.
just started a manager mode with man city. i've played pretty much exclusively online since the game came out. how does one beat the cpu?
Yeah, i've noticed the AI in this years game is a lot worse at diffrentiating when you're trying to head a ball or kick it, its fucking infuriating. Also, there i am having HUGE issues with the cpu players on my team just fucking standing there when the ball is in the air near them or even sometimes on the ground in front of them and a lot of times the game won't let you switch to that player to move him to the ball. It was bad last year but it's even worse in this years game
Yea, agree completely. I'll shoot and the keeper will deflect it right between 2 of my guys in the box and neither will make a move for it and when I try to switch, I can't get to one of them in time to do shit about it. Drives me insane.

decided to take on a challenge. Playing on Legendary with Legendary board as Accrington Stanley. Start out with 120k and 0 wage budget. Adjusted it all to wages and still can only afford 2300 in wages a week. 22 man roster. Cant even buy a 1 star youth scout.
Tried buying a big name player, while I am Derby County. I have a 36,000,000 budget so thought I just say fuck it and spend most of it on a stud striker. Board sent me an email telling me to stop making silly bids and find more realistic signings and stop making the club look ridiculous to the world. ha really liking the depth of the emails I am getting for some of this stuff.
How in god's name did you get 36 mil from Derby County? I got promoted from league one to the championship with Sheffield United and only got 1.6 mil. Made premier league the next year and got like 4.5
Finally started getting a little money with Middlesbrough, still not enough though. Managed to sign a couple decent guys on free's. Also got Marko Marin and Jeffren for pretty cheap. Winning the premier league this year.
Only focused on the cup matches and won those, and just barely avoided regulation. I have already finished 2 seasons too. Sold a lot of players. Also, I think I have my board on professional. Fuck being poor. I wanted to make this club rich.
Anybody have trouble loaning youth players out that you just signed? They are decent enough I think to at least get loaned out, but no one is grabbing them. Tried short loan and season long loan, but doesn't matter bc no one will grab them. They are usually in the low 50's overall.
Only 1 of my 5 have been offered a loan deal in 3 seasons. Pisses me off. They are all in the low 60s and high 50s.
You have to jew the fuck out of them on wages to have any shot at loaning them out. I don't have enough money for a youth squad in my current career, but I was probably getting 1/3 to 1/2 of them loaned out previously. I don't have too many complaints about career mode this year (gameplay is a different story) but I really wish they would allow you to subsidize wages on loan deals as well as set your own prices for players you transfer list. If I want to be able to sell a guy for half his market value I should be able to make that known and I'd be more than willing to pay most of the wages just to get my young guys loaned out. Unless you can do this and I'm just too dumb to figure it out.
I have not signed a youth player above 1k (using the british pound) a week. Wages will kill loans. you can not change the price players. I really hope that comes next season.

Somehow got an achievement, wasn't an accomplishment, where you get injured and score while you are injured. My guy must have got hurt and shot at the same time. He made the goal, but during the celebrations he has one hand holding onto his leg and one hand he has it fist pumping in the air. Pry my favorite celebration I have seen. Now wish I saved the video from it.

It was either at 0 or I was sprinting long enough to bring that bar down. I'm glad I got the shot off before pulling up injured. One of the most frustrating things to watch is your guy pull up injured when you have a 1 on 1.
