Trading is basically watching the auctions to grab guys going for lower than most of their cards then reselling them for close to their max. Guys will spend hours doing it. I've done it a little last year and made money just holding onto guys until their price rose but some people have gotten themselves up to millions of coins already
No it doesn't, my way was just buying up some guys I thought would rise in price and just hold onto them. I don't think I could sit around doing that
Finally getting a decent Liga BBVA FUT squad together. Gameplay is def different than last year but in a good way. I like the sprint/pace nerf. Crossing is much improved I think. Good, but not overpowered. Players make better attempts and reactions to crosses. Actually had a game with 3 set piece goals off of corners. One was a ridiculously nasty volley. Running a 4-2-2-2 at the moment. Find myself going wide more often this year and not just pushing through and overhead balls. I could still use a lot of work beating ppl with dribble moves or freeing up space to create for shots if anyone has advice.
pretty sure it was NYGator that had built his team up to one of the most valuable through trading and shit last year. not sure if he's doing it again.
This year they are similar for fut16. For fut14 and 15 there were no price ranges. The game play on fut 16 iPad is dramatically better, but not all iOS devices support it.
Things that still need to be fixed: Huge discrepancy in fouls called on CPU when bumping players off ball compared to fouls called on users when doing the same. Like 5% to 40%. I've yet to have a player injured and have it be something other than a Leg injury. And it's happening seemingly at least every other match. My players not staying behind the ball on Ultra Defensive.
The bumping off the ball drives me crazy. I get called for it regularly, but the CPU can rape my player in the box and nothing gets called. I had De Gea and my backup GK tear their ACL and MCL in back to back weeks.
for those of you who play FUT. Michael Bradley is fucking insane for me. It may just be my style of play, but he's potentially the best CM I've played with so far. Defensively, not much gets by him. Passing = on point. Offensively, I easily drop them in from outside the box.
the UT modes suck me in b/c I like to open packs. I open way more packs than I play games within UT too....
So I have the Deluxe Edition but I dont play FUT. I guess this code entitles you to some gold packs or some shit. Will happily give it away for free. If multiple people want it I'll just draw out of a hat or something.
(I play on PS4, if that makes a difference - obviously if you've got an xbox code it won't do anything for me)
I'd love the free packs just for the thrill of opening them, but I dont play FUT as much as the other guys. Last year in one of my free packs I pulled an 86 Neymar, and got in roughly 5 games with him.
Who have you guys bought that you love in career mode? I suggest buying Inaki Williams. Got him for 4m and he is so good. Would be ridiculous in past fifa's.
I bought Isaac Success and he's awesome so far. Big, physical and fast. Plus his name is cool. http://sofifa.com/player/222634
I only buy players I like in real life or guys with cool names and the last 3 mentioned have fantastic names
I always search sofifa and find the best/highest potential Free Agents, there are some quality finds on there. Here are a few of the better finds, Dragovic was a FA last year and I added him. Dragovic - http://sofifa.com/player/189060 - Used as a CDM but is probably better at CB but I try to get Varane (best young CB) and Brooks (USA USA USA USA & he is a lefty) as my CBs. In 15 he was useless offensively at CDM and would always make runs despite me telling him to always stay back. For a while he and Junior Mandala were my CDMs :( Everton Ribeiro (another FA) - http://sofifa.com/player/181019 I took over West Ham this year and currently have him at RM/RAM with Payet at LM/LAM, not bad for a free player. I always try to use my club to help build the USA team, so I rarely keep non-Americans who are no longer developing. Ribeiro is 26 and Payet is 28 so both are near their ceilings, I'd like to dump both but my best reserve is Julian Brandt who is currently 74/75 but his stamina wont permit him to start consecutive games. Last but not least - http://sofifa.com/player/182836 I used him for 2 matches in the America Preseason Tournament/Cup. He scored a pair against Barca and another in the 2nd game. Stoke offered me over market value and I gladly sold him off as his departure benefited the wage budget more than the transfer budget. ...and now I hate sofifa as all the women are lumped in with the free agents as they do not have professional contracts in the game.
also, as a openly professing fanboy of the FIFA soundtracks, I do recognize they are assembled with some level of influence from record labels, but I love being a FIFA soundtrack hipster and hearing songs long before they become mainstream hits. I always geek out when I hear a "FIFA song", to which my friends, family, and especially my ex-gf would become aware and recognize "FIFA songs". point of this is, ESPN uses Jax Jones "Yeah Yeah Yeah" a ton for Gameday and CFB broadcasts along with the Apple Watch "Cycle" commercial
I want to like this game SO fucking badly. I try to play it everyday but I can only handle it for like 20 minutes before I realize that FIFA 16 just isn't very good.
Been price watching for a few weeks. PS4 game is 47.99 on Amazon. Gone down three times in the last two weeks. Only has a 3 star rating, doesn't influence me, just that I hope it keeps driving the price down when I do get it. Edit, PS4 is 350 now for 500 gig. Also, there is an XBONE 1TB console with Fifa 16 for $399. I don't think that's bad at all.
I know you had said you wouldn't have a lot of time to play so does that mean you wouldn't really be playing online? If so I wouldn't really worry about what most people play because it wouldn't really affect you. Also along with that I'd say to take a look at the exclusive games for each system are and see which you think you'd like more and go with that
I'm enjoying the game quite a bit. As frustrating as it is to have CPU be faster than me (my guy is maxed out speed wise already), I like that I can't score at will anymore. I've found that setting it to "counter attack" is the best way to not have your CPU dick around with dropping the ball and passing to each other for 70 minutes a game.
Yeah, the wife is likely making the purchase for my birthday, as I'm a closed Star Wars geek & want Battlefront. I saw that offer for Fifa & 1 TB & have already presented it to her. I actually will have a ton of time for the next few years, as the wife is in grad school. It seems like it's pretty much splitting hairs between the systems & online networks. As far as exclusive content, that's not a real factor for me. Most everything I'd play would be be on both systems
I would say then to go with the system that has the most friends playing SW and BF online then. Sealed the deal for me, been playing with the same friends online since PS2.
I'm old. My friends don't play this shit anymore & I haven't had a system since my PS3 crapped out 2 years ago. I'll be playing with TMBers... That's why I was asking.
What he said is right. If I were you I'd go check out the PS4 thread and the XB1 thread and see how it looks for people getting Battlefront (or ask the Star Wars thread what system they're on for those getting the game) to help make a decision. If you end up going PS4 I would recommend checking out the Uncharted collection if you haven't played those http://www.the-mainboard.com/index....over-like-the-master-chief-collection.120417/ http://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/the-ps4-thread-remastered-edition.120636/
Right there with you. Trimmed my facial hair this morning and then also the top of my dome so my peachfuzz would not glimmer when hit by halogen lights at work today.
My main hangup is the XBox interface. It looks like one of those horrific new website designs (see www.sportsillustrated.com). I still don't know how to schedule a match against a friend without jumping through 15 unnecessary menus. Just a total pain in the ass. When I played PS3 (and from what I hear about PS4), the PSN is a breeze. Sucks because I heard the 360 online interface was one its strengths and they trashed it for the current system.
The in game interface? Is it different on each system? Because you are complaining about not knowing how to schedule a match against a friend which would be in the game. Also, it's incredible easy. (I don't think I'd done it once on FIFA 16 and it took me literally less than 10 seconds)
Nah, I guess what I'm referring to (and I had to look this up) is the 'party' feature. I think that governs the ability to speak to them over headset while the match is scheduled? Again, just speculating here. Disclaimer: I have yet to do this in FIFA 2016
Do you have a Kinect? If so: Step 1: Heavy Metal: "Xbox, snap party" Party opens on the side Step 2: Go to "Invite to party" and press A Step 3: Find person in your friends list and invite them If you don't have Kinect then in Step 1 just hit the Xbox button twice and then a little pop up menu comes up, press to the right showing you want to control your snap, choose party then continue to he next steps
If nothing else it at least means you won't have to go through all those screens, I know sometimes there's a delay when I try to go to friends or to someone's page. This cuts that out at least
Also if you don't have Kinect I'd recommend pinning the party (along with any apps you use regularly) to the home screen so you can go left from the home screen to any of it
