Playing at Centurylink could be fun. At least in international matches we can actually play at a US stadium for once.
iirc it usually ships with the rosters from earlier in the summer, but they have an update on release day with whatever the current roster is.
I was invited to the pro-clubs beta. It generally feels the same, but so many things feel smoother. The computer was much more aware, they could pass it to each other 7-8 times without turning it over or doing something stupid. Now, there is definitely a penalty for calling for it if you aren't close to the ball or open.... If the defenders are passing it around to each other and the striker standing at midfield calls for it, the defender will pretty much clear it. The computers are sharper in an offensive sense. There were def a few things that needed to be fixed, but I was very impressed overall. 99% of my FIFA time is devoted to Pro Clubs, so that's all I really care about.
Dribbling/Sprinting around defenders is almost impossible compared to FIFA 15. If I danced around a computer, they fucked me up and stole the ball from me with ease. It seems like they are really putting a premium on controlling the midfield in this game. Granted they started us out as 80 overall, long shots were extremely tough. No more 28 yard outside the boot curling into the corner three times a game. I'm pretty obsessed with pro clubs, so needless to say I can't wait for 16. I thought the FIFA 15 demo last year was trash, so it is pretty fucking exciting to see signs of promise in the beta a full month and a half before the release of the game. Hopefully, we will continue to see improvements and the demo won't disappoint.
That is fantastic news. Now if they only had a fix for Druce turning the ball over all the God damn time...
I always feel like the AI teammates are much improved in Clubs in the first week and then they get broken and do stupid shit the next 51 weeks.
It's because users are at computer level for about the first two weeks before they are able to nerf by.
Couldn't care less about that. I never buy top 50 players in my career modes. Tell me who the top 50 U20 stars are and I'll spam F5 for the next month.
Probably more about UT which is no surprise. People will be all over social media telling them how dumb they are because Hazard is an 88 or 89 and Neymar is whatever he is
I am in the same boat, but last year was frustrating when I got to years 3-4 and the young guys were just beginning to see real growth but were not exactly 1st team regular quality. Tielemans was/is the true youth player with the highest potential. By January 2018 he had grown from 74->77.
its unreal how much people fight over ratings during the rating reveals. NHL 16 just began releasing their player ratings, and people really went at it.
Yeah it is insane every year. And FIFA does UT updates in January too so it happens again then when guys don't get upgrades or people feel they got too much/little of an upgrade
I just use this Fifa database site to do that. They get all the ratings for every player in the game pretty quickly. http://sofifa.com/players?hl=en-GB&sort=desc&column=oa
50. ÁNGEL DI MARÍA - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (FRANCE) - (-1 OVR) 49. PETR ČECH - ARSENAL (ENGLAND) 48. EDINSON CAVANI - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (FRANCE) - (-1 OVR) 47. VINCENT KOMPANY - MANCHESTER CITY (ENGLAND) - (-1 OVR) 46. DAVID ALABA - BAYERN MÜNCHEN (GERMANY) - (+3 OVR) 45. DIEGO GODÍN - ATLÉTICO MADRID (SPAIN)- (+1 OVR) 44. JOHN TERRY - CHELSEA FC (ENGLAND) - (+2 OVR) 43. NALDO - VFL WOLFSBURG (GERMANY) - (+4 OVR) 42. YAYA TOURÉ - MANCHESTER CITY (ENGLAND) - (-1 OVR) 41. SANTI CAZORLA - ARSENAL (ENGLAND) - (+1 OVR)
I only played a bit of FUT and maybe 2 games of MUT last year. MUT this year is drastically improved as you can play solo stuff and earn quality cards/rewards. I never bothered paying attention to the exact ratings or "controversies" as I'd get bored with solo stuff and playing cheesers is annoying as hell. I played my first online MUT game last night, and the dude only ran hurry up/no huddle and would try to throw it deep to Vincent Jackson. Due to him running to the line, I would only be able to make secondary adjustments half the time. Still won, and it was pretty satisfying. sofifa is tremendous. I created an account and saved all my career mode targets, then I'd pull up the site at home and know who to go after. it was especially helpful in nabbing the quality free agents.
Some dude posted this on the FIFA reddit a few days ago. He claimed they weren't guesses and a lot of things right so this might be legit 94 - Messi - RW 93 - Ronaldo 90 - Suarez, Neuer, Robben 89 - Ibra, Hazard 88 - Thiago Silva, Neymar (5/5), Iniesta, Silva (CAM) 87 - Modric, Boateng, Ribery, Lewandowski, Bale, Aguero, Chiellini (!!!), Ramos, Lahm, Rodriguez, Ozil, Kroos, Fabregas 86 - Costa, De Gea, Busquets, Schweinsteiger, Vidal, Benzema, Sanchez (LW), De Bruyne (!!!), Rooney, Reus, Hummels, Courtois, Pogba (!!!), Muller (CF) 85 - Pique, Terry (33 pace), Kompany, Godin, Alaba (!!!), Naldo (!!!), Toure (M/L), Lloris, Di Maria (CAM), Cazorla (CAM, significantly increased defending, 50ish), Cech, Tevez, Cavani.
If true we should expect Tevez, Pique, Lloris then 7 of those 86s tomorrow. Silva at CAM will be nice plus that bump. KDB at 86, when he gets an IF in UT 87 at RM oh my
City should buy Naldo in the next couple hours because he and De Bruyne are unstoppable together on corners.
40-31 40. GERARD PIQUÉ - FC BARCELONA (SPAIN) - (+1 OVR) 39. MATS HUMMELS - BORUSSIA DORTMUND (GERMANY) 38. BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER - MANCHESTER UNITED (ENGLAND) - (-2 OVR) 37. MARCO REUS - BORUSSIA DORTMUND (GERMANY) 36. WAYNE ROONEY - MANCHESTER UNITED (ENGLAND) 35. ARTURO VIDAL - BAYERN MÜNCHEN (GERMANY) - (+1 OVR) 34. THOMAS MÜLLER - BAYERN MÜNCHEN (GERMANY) 33. KARIM BENZEMA - REAL MADRID (SPAIN) - (+1 OVR) 32. THIBAUT COURTOIS - CHELSEA FC (ENGLAND) 31. PAUL POGBA - JUVENTUS FC (ITALY) - (+2 OVR)
What's the highest rated 'regular' player FIFA has ever had? I've always respected them for an appropriate level of scale. Messi and Ronaldo are 93/94 and two of the best ever. If you look at Madden / NCAA, there are multiple guys on there who are 99s every year. FIFA never has that. It does beg the question, however: who should a 99 be? Pele? Maradona? Is Messi not up there with those guys?
One time I created myself and did a career mode and there was a glitch where all the accomplishments I already had completed were added again and I went from being rated an 84 to a 97. I quit playing shortly after because it became too easy.
