http://www.express.co.uk/entertainm...e-date-EA-Sports-FIFA-17-Demo-Ratings-Man-Utd Hope so, I know I read it in a couple of places that it was limited this year.
that would be some bullshit, thats kind of the whole point of ea access is getting to play the full game as a trial.
Hopefully since EA site says full game even if they planned to limit it they got backlash and changed it back to full game
Attention! FIFA 17 is available in the store on XBL for members of EA Access. Go to the store and search FIFA and it'll come up. Don't go to EA Access because in the app it still says coming soon
Believe he means the free trial and not the full game. Free trial says I can download and I am doing so....In EA Access Hub it still says coming soon.
Also it is the full game. I was just able to get into clubs and there were 918 people playing drop ins
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/ea-sports-fifa-17/btvffddz0tl4 it works through a browser too. first try gave me an error, 2nd try worked.
Pro Clubs development is now much more performance based. The boosts you could purchase before are totally gone.
On the bright side, after each match you can see how far you have to go until the next level up instead of just never knowing
Well normally without the boosts you'd be 70 something then with them be 81. Now you start at 81 so basically start in the same spot just without spending the EA coins
So mad! Took forever to install. My 2 yr old woke me up at 3 AM and it was at 99%, I almost said fuck it and started playing then, but with only 10 hours available I need to be careful with my playing time. Going home early and will be on for clubs tonight if anybody wants to play!
Woke up at 530 and as I rolled back over realized FIFA was probably done downloading so I woke up and played for an hour or so before work. Went through career mode a little bit. Basically the same as previous additions. Still have the global scouting, layout isn't really different, still have the "showing great potential" and the others for judging potential, still can't see that potential clue if player is out for loan. Only new features seem to be around the finances of the team. Some new goals and numbers around that. Adds a bit more depth but nothing crazy. One key thing that seems to be addressed that used to infuriate me is that loan listed players seem to get loaned at a higher % and all 5 of my transfer listed players were sold in the first window. Will need to play a bunch more to know if it was shear luck or they made it so you get offers (even if lowballed) for everyone but that alone is a big step in the right direction. I know most in here do clubs and FUT but I still stick to career mode almost exclusively.
Career is still my go to as well. Started my LFC career last night (although I need to turn off the Kinect registering cause I got fired because of it in 16). I'd say the same as RavenNole as it seems like they added a couple things but is close to the same layout wise. More manager requirements for the club not just on field stuff. My only complaint is still the heat seeking missile way that opposing players come at the ball. That and the passing still seems off. FUT squad building challenges could get addictive too.
Do you need to have the game downloaded to play early access or do you play thru EA's portal? Sorry if this has been addressed.
Thanks for this. I do Career, FUT and clubs. Career is my go-to with FUT as a close 2nd. I always do a Leeds Manager Mode to bring them back to world dominance, but it has gotten repetitive: buying the same young players, doing the billionare take over when reaching EPL, dominating easily. I'm taking suggestions for a good manager mode team. I always like to start with a lower level club if possible and play in Professional to get used to the new gameplay and then move up to World Class or Legendary. I'm looking at Newcastle as I love their stadium and kits or maybe go to Germany and try to challenge Dortmund and Bayern with Bundesliga 2 side. If not, I'll do a Madrid career mode and buy Reus and a top DM to play in legendary mode.
Yeah I've already done a few of those I used to do career mode but EA not doing much with it has made it lose some luster for me
I know I'll see it tonight but can you expand on what that entails? I always do my own squad challenges like: "Best all south american squad" "All-black British Players" "All-Africa Team" "Gingers Only Squad" I have been thinking of sending a raven to MiB for them to come up with a challenge and award a prize for the best and most original FUT squad. If I do it, dont steal my Gingers Only Squad named KissedByFire. You can do an "All-Balds team" or "All-Messis" squad with Stanford Messi, Scottish Messi, etc, I also always buy all the best Chilean and US players which spends a lot of my coins. Last year was the first time I got both Vidal and Alexis. Some of the US silver players are really expensive, I dont think I ever got Yedlin last year.
Also in career mode if you start with a big team take a look at their roster before you start. Chelsea obviously have an insane amount of people on loan so they have 5-10 loanees that are just permanently on the team they are currently loaned out to. some of them are top prospects. I will probably restart this career once I get the hang of it and edit the rosters with the top youth being transferred back to chelsea and cut the shitty players. Obviously this won't impact most teams but I expect it would impact most bigger clubs
Shaun and I got booted from both games we tried to get in, then the servers crashed. Send me a friend request on Xbox
There are tons of them. Some never expire but some have expiration dates so seems like they'll have them planned throughout the year. For example there's a gold upgrade challenge. You just need to put together a team that has 11 gold players with min chem of 40. You trade that in (when doing these, you lose that team) and get a 2 rare gold player pack. Lots of bigger ones that have multiple challenges. MLS, for example has an overall reward plus reward for each team. So for all 20 MLS clubs there's a challenge of building an 11 of just that club (and sometimes other requirements, like 5 diff nationalities for Vancouver) that get you a reward of a pack and maybe some coins. However once you've completed all 20 MLS challenges the big reward is 20k coins and an untradeable special Giovinco. For Liga NOS same but 30k and Jonas
Abandoning my FIFA 16 career to jump to 17 tonight. I was bringing Portsmouth back to prominence. Won all the cups while in League One as well as Europa League (having qualified for it with an EFL Cup win in League Two... I had a fuck ton of premier league guys on loan). That was supposed to slot me into Champions League for my Championship season but it didn't. Ughhhh. Squad (no idea why some of these agreed to come on 2 year loans to a League Two club) Spoiler Thierry Ambrose - ST - Manchester City Chuba Akpom - ST - Arsenal Zachary Elbouzedi - CAM - WBA Martin Odegaard - CAM - Real Madrid Alex Iwobi - LM - Arsenal Christian Pulisic - LM - BVB Ainsley Maitland-Niles - RM - Arsenal Emerson Hyndman - CM - Fulham Ruben Loftus-Cheek - CM - Chelsea Jamie Hanson - CDM - Derby Connor Grant - CDM - Everton Ben Chilwell - LB - Leicester Tony Fosu-Mensah - CB - United Reece Oxford - CB - West Ham Borja Lopez - CB - Barca B James Bree - RB - Barnsley Mason Holgate - RB - Everton Ethan Horvath - GK - Molde Honestly gonna boot up 17 and immediately add most of those to my shortlist. That was a fun fucking team.
Pulisic still underrated but hopefully the short term loan/recall/boost the potential trick works in 17 so I can adjust his potential to where it should be until ea wakes up. Also I wasted my first hour at work this morning studying the rosters. Not exactly productive
I've only played the journey so far but game play seems a lot better to me. This weekend I'll dive into more games and will have a better idea but it's more fluid, passing seems better as does midfield play and even shooting.
I agree with this although my experience comes from the Demo only. One thing to note is that after playing 15-20 matches it already feels natural. It usually takes me longer than that to adapt to the new gameplay, this could be because it wasn't changed much, but to me it does feel different in a good way.
I think the learning curve is lessened because the passes and runs from the computer are more realistic. For someone that watches as much soccer as you do it's easy to see the play develop. If you didn't watch the sport but were a big FIFA player I think that learning curve would be more
