I think that is probably bad news for you guys. He was going to get loaned back from what I'd read and you would have gotten a larger fee than you will end up with in the summer.

from my extremely ignorant perspective I think the fact that he's finally getting playing time has to help. I mean if he was going to sit the bench he might as well sit the bench while training with a top Premiership club, but you know he's not getting EPL playing time next year so might as well sign on again with us, then make a lucrative transfer move in a couple of seasons
Losing Dembele will hurt next year but having McCormack back should still give us plenty of goals, plus I'm excited to see what Woodrow could do with more playing time. If we invest some money in trying to put together at least a semblance of a serviceable defense we could be much better next year.
So 20th place and 11 points clear is where we end the year. Take a good cautious look at Bolton. Formerly a middle of the road Premier League side and now look at them. Pray we don't go the sAme way.

Maybe it's time to start considering putting the Michael Jackson statue back where it was. I think your old owner paid to have a hex put on Fulham for removing his beloved Michael. Did either Garbutt or Hyndman play much this season?
Hyndman Played a moderate amount. I would guess he started maybe 10 games, but more often came off the bench at least in the second half of the season. Generally he is regarded as one of the better players on the team this year, even at his age, and we would love to keep him, but seems he will move on to a bigger club along with dembele. He scored his first goal for Fulham about a month back. Garbutt probably played a little more, but I don't think you can give a positive grade to anyone playing defense this year. With as many goals as we scored, a decent defense would have had us battling for a playoff spot.
Considering where this club was 4 or so years ago, this all just really sucks. At least when they were relegated there was a lot of youth to look forward to. Now Roberts is gone, Dembele is going to be gone and Hyndman is probably gone too. Burn is leaving too...which I'm not even sure is a bad thing but it just seems the entire foundation of this club has been destroyed. I really don't know if and when they'll get back up.
