love how gio dos shithead acts like he's so hard out there. same dude that was threatening to walk out before WC 2010 bc of his brother.
Ours. And fuck the announcers. "As realization sets in for the US that they're about to be defeated again by their rivals."
Yeah go fuck yourself howard. Don't go hard on goal #2 and then you're hopping around on the ground again that leads to a goal. [I love howard i'm just drunk and mad]
Alright since this match is over, it's time to call for Bradley's head. I know it's wishful thinking though. No excuse for a team to give up 4 straight goals.
Dempsey looks like he's going to murder someone. I've defended Bradley all tournament but he's been pathetic today.
This has been a tough match to watch. I've enjoyed the way Mexico has finished on the opportunities but hate seeing hoe inept USA has been since being up 2-0.
Bornstein again Two straight big time losses to Mexico in the Gold Cup and crashing out of the WC should get you fired
Other than Bradley, I feel that the midfield and the forwards have been pretty damn good, Adu particularly. The defense, as has been the case for nearly five years, is fucking pathetic, Lichaj looking the only exception. Little communication and way too slow, not a good combo.
Might as well get used to this for another 3 years. Bradley isn't going anywhere and nothing about this team will change. Only way Bradley gets fired is if he fails to qualify for world cup and a fucking monkey could get us qualified against concacaf competition.
I'm glad we scored a quick two and gave me a reason to get excited, but we were just completely outclassed. Freddy Adu was the only one who looked like he belonged on the same field as the Mexican attack. It may be a knee-jerk because at least we got to the final, but it's time for Bob Bradley to go.
Getting to the gold cup final is nothing to beat our chest about. Mexico was the only good team in the tournament.
I agree completely, but after how poorly we looked in group play, he did get the ship righted to an extent. I'm just trying to look for something to give him credit for, but he probably doesn't deserve it.
id rather lose to texas and a&m in every sport for all of eternity than lose to that fucking shithole once fuck this gay earth
Pisses me off that I can't get excited about the next world cup and qualifying matches. Nothing to look forward to as long as this shitty coaching staff stays in place. No excuse giving up 4 straight goals, especially after being up by 2.
I don't get all bent out of shape about that. I live in Texas and still root for my alma mater (LSU) and the Saints. I travel the world a lot for work and meet lots of expatriates who of course still root for the US and their home town teams. so yeah
I just don't understand. Wouldn't every other country in the world have 3 different coaches in the span we've had Bob?
it may come as a surprise to you, but i don't think i've ever encountered a mexican american. are they as terrible as they seem
you mean expatriates as in people who were actually born in the country that they were rooting for right? and your alma mater as in the school that you actually went to right?
Everything Bob Bradley does well can be attributed to an earlier failing of his. He substitutes well because he doesn't put his best XI on the pitch to start. His teams look better at the end of the tournament because players who have failed miserably in the first parts get relegated to the bench. Every other national team goes into tournaments knowing who their squad is and what everyone's role is. Why the fuck does he get to lower his own bar?
there has to be some NBA D League kids that could play on our back line. goodson and bornstein are just so fucking slow...
There's been no advancement technically or schematically in the last 3 years. We're still a set-piece/counter-attack team, and it's so fucking frustrating to be outclassed by Mexico, especially when the only creative player on our team spent 2/3 of the tournament on the bench. I realize it's easy for to criticize his decisions when I don't see what they're doing in training and preparation, but I have a hard time believing Adu appeared to be the 6th best midfielder in preparation like Bob treated him. Hopefully, this is Adu's entrance and Bob Bradley's exit.
Except against Mexico, when Bob decides to open it up against the one team in the region that has us on talent. Fucking mind-bottling.
This is dead fucking on and was the same shit I said in the WC. I think our center midfield is non existent and obviously our D. I also don't think that US soccer really has an identity or a true style of play.
how many managers get to coach a team through 2 WCs? and bradley could be one of them? that's f'ing embarrassing for US soccer. we should be ashamed.
