Got out this morning. Second tee time but they let me go off on 10. So nice to have the course to yourself. Shot a 45 on the front (back) 9 with one blow up hole. 9 on a par 5. 46 coming back in. Round took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Told the wife I only played 9
I have such a boner for golf right now. I love those times on the course when there is no one in front of you and no one in back of you. I went out and played twilight a couple nights ago. Played by myself, got through 15 holes and played 2 balls each hole. For the first ball that I was keeping score on, I was 6 over through 15, was gunning for under 80 for the first time in years. Jordan Spieth's putting at the Masters has inspired me, knocking down those 8-10 footers cuts strokes off quickly. Also does anyone here golf with there g/f or wife? I haven't, but I'm trying to get my g/f to do an easy 9 one of these nights.
Love an after work round of 9 by myself. Great time to think and reflect. Also, my wife has no interest in playing with me, but she thinks it would be fun to drive me around on the cart.
My girlfriend is the same way. Her watching would drastically reduce my tension reducing, club slamming rage though.
Followed up my 76 last Sunday with a 78 Saturday. Shot a 41-37. Missed three birdie putts inside 6 feet on the front. Birdied 3 holes on the back and bogeyed a par 5 after being 180 yards out after my drive. Happy to shoot 78, but it was a pretty frustrating round.
Quail Hollow holds the PGA in 2017. Chalk up another major for Rory. Which leads to my next point - there are so many incredible courses in this country. Why do we resort to regular PGA Tour stops for majors? I hate when they play majors at the same tracks they already play at during the season. Pebble being the one (and only) exception.
Wait till you guys see where they play this event next year. Eagle Point in Wilmington is so amazing.
Reporter: I was wondering if you had the green jacket hanging in any kind of special place. @jordanspieth: It's just in my closet. I think it's sandwiched between a couple shirts. I know exactly where it is, though. And yeah, I go in there, I look at it. Pull it out here and there and just kinda, you know, kind of just hold it as if it's the greatest trophy I've ever had. Because it is.

Finally bought a new driver. Found a factory sealed 2013 cobra amp cell for $90 from hurricane golf. I played a round with the exact model a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Gets here Tuesday
Walking. It's a local 9 hole, par-3 course. It's going to be bad news bears. I'm sure i'll be drinking.
