Tiger's line is still pretty nice for the most part but god damn Rory comes up with the most hideous color combinations. I love their golf shorts but I think I'll be investing in some UA polos for this summer.
I'll take UA anything for my golf closet, the shorts and pants are badass, albeit overpriced. And those heather style shirts look awesome.
And Rory already +1 and in danger of missing the cut throws one in the trees left, hits a provisional. He's shitting his salmon colored pants right now.
Jordan is in first at -7 for the moment, don't know if he will still be there at day's end but solid outing from him so far.
Rory definitely missing the cut, he is 4 over with 5 to go and just hit a bad tee shot on a par 3. He'll be lucky to par.
Poulter had it to -9 but bogeyed his last hole, is now leading at -8. Jordan dropped from -8 back into a tie for 2nd at -6.
Haven't been on TMB in a while. Is this the new golf thread? Heading to Highlands, NC to play OLD Edwards tomorrow. My buddy said it is his "end all" of golf courses to play. Said it is a unbelievable experience. I have read mixed reviews. I may have to start a TMB yard sale thread to fund some of this.
This Pete Dye course for the Senior PGA looks pretty ballsy. Lehman currently one ahead of Langer, Montgomerie and a few others.
What the hell is going on at the womens national championship? That course must be way too hard for any women
Today was golf day 1 of my Ireland excursion, played at Royal Portrush this morning. Really fun track, very very challenging. Of course hit it into the largest bunker on earth, deep fried egg, too.
Shot back to back 91s these last two weeks. Pretty good. Ready to start breaking into the 80s consistently.
Getting my swing back to where it was when I used to play a lot, thanks to actually playing a lot more. Shot a 40 with a fucking triple on the last hole though, hit a good drive just got a horrible bounce that literally made the ball go into a unplayable ravine. Also missed a 3 footer for eagle on a par 5 after taking double the hole before. Felt like I should have shot par because I had just the 2 bad holes and every other hole was pars minus the tap in birdie.
Had a great time on this course. I didn't realize they had hosted the Senior Legends of Golf event for several years until Liberty Mutual decided to end its sponsorship. They're currently trying to get a Web.Com event now. Course was in great condition and a really cool layout. Greens were pretty bad though. They had a bunch of rain the previous week or so, and they hadn't cut or rolled them in a while. Really bumpy and hairy. Probably rolling about a 7, which is the complete opposite of what I'm used to putting on. I two-putted every green.
When I played it, they were still hosting the Sr event. It'd be a great track for the Web.com tour. Sucks the greens weren't good
Yeah, I think the weather just prevented them from being able to do much with them. The rest of the course was in unbelievable shape. Hopefully, I'll get back down there and play it again soon.
Shot a 41 in work league tonight and had two putts lip out so I'm pretty happy with that. I have a 5 handicap for this league and I played the league president who is a -1, so his even par 36 meant I won in strokes. We also do a match play at the same time and I birdied the 8th and parred 9 to win those points as well. Pretty happy how comfortable I'm feeling with how little I've been able to play lately because of weather
Oh look it's raining in dallas for the 30th straight day, was shocked they could play the Colonial last week and will even be more surprised if the Nelson gets done in four days.
