Would enjoy seeing Dufner get the win tomorrow. Love the Stadium course, played a memorable round there years ago.
https://twitter.com/AggieMensGolf A&M golf Twitter feed has five pics of Tiger's first course. Trying to swing some connections to get down there and play.
That Abu Dabi finish was so sick. Just watched on DVR. Fowler/Day/McIlroy/Spieth should be really fun the watch this year
So my focus in this event of trying to get guys playing the Nicklaus course and avoid stadium course kind of paid off but nobody in group A is brutal. Ugh.
Watching the replay. Got a nice chuckle out of Dan Hicks saying that Phil thought he was "about a week away" from locking in his new swing. That's so Phil. Deals only in concrete assessments. Confident man, that Phil.

Any and all pics would be welcomed. Personally, I'm interested in how the "G" driver and PXG irons look, feel, and perform
From what I understand PXG won't be there which is really frustrating. I have hit the 7 iron, looks almost exactly like the Ping i E1 at address with a little sharper leading edge. PXG stole designers from Ping. It was solid and a little bit longer in distance than the Taylor Made PSI. Problem is they are hard to find and I think they are about 175-200 a stick. I will definitely be checking out the G stuff, hopefully the Taylor Made M2, new Vokeys, and new scotty cameron as well.
I read they took some of Ping's designers. Sucks that they don't have a booth. Feedback on the Vokeys and Camerons would be appreciated. Wish I were attending.
My boss told me pxg irons were like 350 a pop. You'll spend like 5Gs for a full set of their clubs. TM already releasing the m2? Christ it seems like they just roll new shit out monthly
Happened to someone at the US Open at Marion as well. EDIT: I guess it wasn't Marion. I thought it happened in one of the majors in the last few years.
I'm confused how you get credited with a win in the fantasy league. I started Duf Daddy all 4 rounds and didn't get credited with a win. Since it went to a playoff?
It's not the player winning, it's if you finish at the top of our group and get the win for the week.
Customer calls for a Friday tee time and then asks for directions. After giving him directions, "thanks, we will just plug it into our Cars gps as well." Old people and their refusual to use technology to get simple answers.
Fran Tarkenton won the week without Duff because I'm an idiot and thought Lingmerth wouldn't be able to duplicate his Saturday round on Sunday. Gr8 finished second.
The winning player has the most accumulated points for the week. You received 20 bonus points for having Dufner on your team this week, but it wasn't enough to top player Fran Tarkenton's score of 215.
Gotcha, thanks. Would be convenient if they had the scoring rules somewhere. (They very well may be and I just haven't found them)
Gents, looks like we're doing Bandon August 15th to 18th. Question for those that have been...how are the cottages there? Everything I've seen online suggests they're overpriced. Trying to pitch this place to our group but wanted to make sure it's a better option... https://www.vrbo.com/143960
Seems like DeChambeau is going to be the new Rickie in the sense that a lot of people disliked Rickie early in his career for his clothing choices. This is far worse though imo
Whatever he wears will always be overshadowed by his uniqueness with his clubs, swing, strategy, etc...
Why hasn't DeChambeau turned pro yet? He was just in Abu Dhabi and played in Australia earlier, doesn't he have to pay his own way? He has to be costing himself a ton of money
Dont you have to surrender exemptions earned from amateur wins if you turn pro? So he would have to give up the Masters, British, and U.S. Open.
he is waiting until after the Masters to turn pro. Not sure about expenses to play these tournaments though. EDIT: here is an article from Golf Digest on him http://www.golfdigest.com/story/bry...ing-busy-prepping-for-the-masters-turning-pro
You gotta think he's got them covered in some way. Otherwise, why the hell would you spend all that damn money to go to Dubai and the like when you can play competitive tourneys that cost you much, much less.
I love this https://twitter.com/PGATOUR/status/692409874743951360 Five years ago ... Phil had bones tend the flag for his 72-yard approach on the 72nd hole @FarmersInsOpen. Click on link to see the video. Vintage FIGJAM
Remember watching that moment live with so many thoughts running through my head. What is Phil doing on the green? Wtf is he making Bones do? He's tending it?! Is this douchey or boss? This is gonna be embarrassing if he doesn't come close. Holy fuck he almost holed it? I would've laughed if he holed it and got a slow play penalty.
Just was given tickets for the Northern Trust Open so going to Riviera and the Bear Trap back to back weeks Jigga
I'm undecided on Dechambeau so far. I very rarely flip my opinion when it comes to things like this so I like to gather as much info as possible before I fully commit to giving him the Poulter, Pat Reed, FIGJAM, etc...(bad) treatment or the Tiger, Spieth, GMac, etc...(good) treatment. I'm sure he's eagerly waiting my decision.
