Grinding, not looking sharp. Makes triple and blows his chance at winning, pressure relieved, birdie binge. Mental game never been so weak.
Welp hit 15 greens but had 38 putts to lose the club championship, even lost scorecard playoff for shop credit. Anyone know the best/cheapest place to order higher end golf balls online? Gonna test a few lower spin balls as I think the regular pro V is spinning too much off my driver.
Lostgolfballs is a pretty good site to get some cheaper balls. I've used them a few times and have been very happy with everything. I don't buy anything besides mint, which is AAAAA on their site.
Thanks, seems like a good idea with as much as I play. You ever been disappointed with the quality or condition of the AAAAA rated balls?
I second lostgolfballs.com but the least you can buy is a dozen. If you are wanting to experiment with several balls, buying several different dozens might not be the way to go
I haven't been disappointed at all. I normally split an order of 100 with a friend of mine. I would also check eBay and see if you can find some different balls you want to try being sold by the sleeve.
Why don't you just use the prov1x? That is the best ball there is. If for some reason you don't like that I would try the Srixon low spin ball (idk which model that is). I guess you could try Taylormade too? Nothing compared to the prov1x though
I get the regular Pro V's for free (our marketing team uses them for events) but I need a change X is definitely high on my list but hearing good things about that Srixon ball as well.
Also need to look at synthetic gloves vs leather. Been buying the Callaway three packs for $16 at Costco but I've developed a nasty callous on my hand that will not go away. It the next month I hope to buy new: Irons Hybrid Change ball Change glove Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
My biggest issue at the moment is finding good data on a lot of the balls out there. I understand all swings are different and all companies are going to boast high launch low spin, but my 15 minutes of cursory interweb googling hasn't produced great results. Bridgestone site told me to get their tour ball.
I've used the nike durafeel gloves(synthetic) and the callaway dawn patrol glove(leather). I've really liked my dawn patrol glove I've used recently.
I've got such a mix bag of balls from working at a golf course, v1's, v1xs, bridgstone b330 b330s and e6s, callaway chromesofts and supersofts, and a random assortment of nike balls.
I play the Bridgestone e5 typically. Good feel, launches a littler higher than the e6, which is designed to be the straightest of the e series. I didn't really like the feel of the e6 around the green and I noticed several reviews mentioned the same.
Aint a better feeling after hitting a cheap ball into the woods, walk over and immediately find a prov1.
Divers came a few weeks ago at our course, I've taken about 5-6 dozen of the mentioned above since. My bag is loaded.
I typically play the e6. Like it better than the e5. Also the e6 comes with a free sleeve of B330s which are a damn good ball imo.
Never bought good golf balls before. but I am very tempted to try these out http://data:image/webp;base64,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 I mean I've bought like a dozen niko mojos for like 6 bucks at our shop.
Granted I find some shitty golf ball that bastard will fucking endure so much shit and last the remainder of my round.
Last time I played I tried out the Callaway Hex Chrome. Two dozen for $26 at Costco. Seemed like a pretty decent ball.
I buy refurbished titleist balls at Walmart. I can't justify buying expensive balls as a 25 handicap.
Nah I was saying I liked the chrome soft but didn't know if I wanted to buy a whole dozen of those with the truvis tech..used to be you could buy golf balls by the sleeve but I can't find those anywhere sold by the sleeve.
Had our annual Captain's Cup tourney this weekend... golf, bowling, poker. Was tied going into final event, late in the game I got in bad with AQ vs KK and rivered an Ace to lock up the Cup. The guys came to play when it was time to hit the lanes. Opened with 231 only to find myself in trailing three others by 25+ pins. Shot 689 for 2nd place, winner shot 735. Equipment went back in the bag until next year.
Equiptment back in the bag til next year? Wut? Fall golf is about to start which is literally the GOAT-of all time.
I don't know if you felt like this was a good post but fall is the GOAT season, not something to brag about missing out on. HTH.
I'm 42. I'll take the heat when playing golf. Easier to get and stay loose and the ball flies farther.
I was about to say I thought you were in cali where the golf has no end of season. Speaking of I bowled for the first time in like 5 years this weekend. Managed to break 100 after several cheap pitchers of beer. And not a single fuck was given on that day.
