I'm thinking of replacing my 4 iron with one soon but I'm gonna buy new irons and see how that works first. I love my 3h and wouldn't mind a 4h but I think with better/lighter shafts and a large cavity/sole I'll launch the new 4 iron much higher.
I'm getting rid of that TM hybrid and switching over to an adams one soon. The flex in the shaft of the hybrid is too flimsy for me but it was free.99 so I couldn't complain and wasn't consistant enough at the time to know any better.
i absolutely hate my TM 3 hybrid. it's only in my bag because i gave my old shitty one to a friend when I got this one. I'd love to have the shitty one back...
My Adams woods are great and I've heard nothing but awesome things about their hybrids so would recommend them if you are looking. Although I'm sure there are great offers for plenty of the major club manufacturers.
I don't know what it is about the TM. If I make solid contact with it, it's a pull hook.. don't consistently have that problem with any other club
Mine is a cobra, but I have the same problem. I like my 3 iron though, so I don't ever use it anyway.
If you do decide to replace your 4i after getting your new set, make sure you get a hybrid with a similar loft to your 4i. If not, you could create a big gap between your 5i and your lowest hybrid. I made this mistake and had to sell one I bought and buy another more lofted hybrid.
I've had a titleist 909h 3h and a taylor made stage 2 4h and I couldn't hit either worth a shit. Doesn't make any sense but oh well. I did take out my 3 iron but have an old 2 iron in my bag so I can use it off the tee or for when I need a low shot. But my fairway wood is 17 degrees, so it actually makes no sense to have a 4 wood and a 2 iron but I hit them different distances so it works.
I like my hybrid but it's my least commonly used club. I have the need to use it maybe once every 2 rounds at most.

What are you playing for irons, and what type of gap wedge? Do you swing differently? How tall are you? If you already posted a swing vid let me know and I'll go back and look at it. I would say you're definitely swinging the wedge differently than the 8 iron though

After about 2 years with my starter pair, I was in college and had cash to blow so I went and bought clubs that were past my skill level. Was never able to strike them well enough so I ended up having to sell them and get my r9s which were comparable to my starter clubs. So I spent ~$1600 to get pretty close to the same clubs I had before. Not only that... but that whole escapade mind fucked me so bad that it took close to a year to get my shit back together on the course. Had these r9's for about 3 years now and they feel like home. cool story brah.
Joining this thread, Jigga keeps asking for me to video my swing. Will get on it and post for him and others to critique.
This might be a stupid question with you livin the dahl life and all, but you don't happen to have an ace on your resume do you?
you keep saying this like it's going to be a contest. I play golf with lots of good golfers, none of which bother me when I lose by 30 strokes. You work AT a golf course and play 10x what I do... why would I expect to win?
