Man fucking prestige worldwide killed it last week. Not using Speith so I can save him really hurt. Oh and Bubba was on the bench yesterday
Yeah, strategy question about Bubba: I'm already two rounds behind this week. I probably shouldn't waste a start for two rounds, right?
You can go ahead and remove me as well. I am having a difficult time keeping up with it this year and have missed several weeks. I'll gt back in it next season.
I don't know if you can join mid tourney? But at this point I'd pick all the leaders if you could. More points the merrier.
first year really getting serious about playing and trying to develop a swing. Was atrocious before and struggled shaking off the baseball mentality. Finally showing improvement and getting comfortable playing. Playing in a league at work. Working my score down from the mid 50's to mid 40's already. Hoping to get down to low 40's by end of the summer.
Same here. I need to give up softball now that I'm serious about golf. Golf game is much better but my softball swing has gone to shit. Still serviceable, but shit compared to what it used to be.
Hit some balls yesterday with a guy I know who was a low single-digit handicapper once upon a time. One thing we talked about that I'm really having trouble with is swinging out. Any tips, drills to help me grasp the concept.
Stand with your back to the target and hit some mid irons. You'll get the feel of releasing in-to-out
Back to the target and the ball just left of left foot, in line with you toes ( assuming you're right handed)
What did you mean, Whammy? Now i'm afraid that I may have screwed you up. In any case, just hit a few balls with your back to the target. It's not a fix for anything, rather a way to get a feel for a swing path
Thinking about taking a few lessons mainly because I've never really had instructions on my golf swing/game. What is an acceptable price? the guy I'm looking at does it for 75hour and 40 for 1/2 hour. He recommends an hour for the first lesson.
70 (-2) on Par 72, 71.2 rating goofy little 6600 yard track. 16 GIR 33 putts 1 OOB ball Missed 3 birdie putts on last 3 holes inside of 12' for 69. Was also +2 thru 2.
8:20 tee tomorrow. What so you think? Will tomorrow be a breakthrough day? Do I shoot an 89 or even 88? Place your bets. Guess Artoo's score.
Only chance he has for a 3 putt par is if he can throw the ball from the tee onto the green on a par 3
Tom Watson and Colin Montgomerie just teed off. Is there a bigger Most Loved/Most Hated pairing out there?
I think you are trying to stop coming over the top? Couple of tips. Takeaway: Turn left shoulder to the ball, your shirt buttons should be turning back with the club Downswing: Get your weight transferred to your left side. (think either shirt buttons or belt buckle turning to the target to start get the club moving. Post up on your left leg and swing around your knee. Most over the top comes down to bad weight transfer and having your body and arms disconnected.
