Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Updated OP, Chilean u can either send me an updated set of standings pic or modify yourself, I'm leaving and goin to friends for game 2
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa v Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** why are you getting all faggy about this, just let it go - it doesn't earn you any extra e-cred to defend yourself over and over.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I'm being an American and why should that matter to you if I wanna be anti-Mexican? Yea, objectively, they got robbed of a goal, but subjectively they can eat my American shit.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I'm honored to have Fcbarc correct me, for what it's worth.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I'll do it, although I was gonna wait till after the 2nd game but it's no biggie takes like 1 minute to do
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** haha damn you missed the point. objectively, they did not get robbed of a goal. it was offsides.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** techinically it was offsides......if it were against SA in SA 50/50 chance they let goal stand
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** lol I had the game on mute most of the time and came into the thread late. My bad.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I'm as anti-Mexican as the next dude (unless that dude is Mexican), I was just trying to stop the 6th person from correcting a fellow Rutgers fan. Fuck Mexico. On a side note, excellent officiating that match. I hope the rest of the tourney goes as smoothly with as little controversy.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I had to deal with finding new streams, connecting to a different wifi network, and the like over and over again and probably only saw about one half's worth of the match, spaced out through the entire thing. Didn't even get to see South Africa's goal. ESPN3's feed was so shitty for me that I couldn't even read the clock and know how much time was left. It was all blurry and shit.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Damn, sucks Mexico tied it. Oh well, my computer DVR worked well, took up 2.93 GBs, as long as every other game takes up that much I will be able to record everyone onto a DvD.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** what are you his dad? i'm sure his feelings aren't hurt
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I had to record on the lowest quality setting, still perfectly fine for watching but you can tell its lower quality. I am tempted to record one more quality level up for France-Uruguay because I had a whole 1.5 GBs more to use.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Yeah I'm definitely going to try the next quality level up, hopefully it stays under 4.7 GB and is better looking.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Shhhh... He doesn't know that I'm his dad. Besides, it would've been annoying to have to read 6 people correct 1 post whether it was a RU fan who made it or not. Fuck Mexico (just because I was accused of being a Mexico sympathizer in an earlier post and feel the need to remind everyone who much they suck.)
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Yeah, and my PS3 bricked last night around 1 AM. Also, my car was broken into on Monday and my 80 GB video iPod was stolen along with a Kensington adapter.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** at the Mexican excuse. this is the World Cup why would you put your 3rd stringers...those are Aguirre's best XI in his eyes no fucking excuses!
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** the throwing shit and garbage trick is fucking disgusting not surprised they do it but still its fucking nasty
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** cant think of anyone mexico could have started that was better than their first XI other than guardado
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Yea that was the only one I was shocked not to see start.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I know CONCACAF would never allow it, but if I were Bradley, I'd never take my team to Azteca again. The stories that you read there are almost unbelievable.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** thats always been the mexican mentality. they always talk like they have superstars that are getting the shaft, but in reality, they are a country that revolves around soccer but is mediocre. its gotta kill those faggits to know where soccer ranks in the US.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** been called a racist twice today lmao
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** i was responding to some other comment and said "of course i am cheering against mexico
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** if you get called a racist by mexicans you did something right imo just shows their class. I've been to a lot of countries but the worst people I've ever seen are Mexicans. I've been to Uganda with their regressed society, Cambodia, and almost every other "Holy shit why did you go there" country on Earth. Mexico sucks dick
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Cha Ching.....you hit the nail on the head.....they hate that the only sport they are decent at, the US is better than them without really giving it a full effort........US and Mexico are great for Concacaf, but neither really do shit at WC when faced against the classic Super Powers
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** yeah dos santos and vela are third stringers :\
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** If anyone questions why a US Soccer fan hates Mexican soccer fans or accuses you of racism just show them this article: http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=ro-usamexico081209 or tell that what's in the 3 cups that're flying at Donovan in this pic.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** which is why they cant beat stronger european teams in the box and cant stop in the back....they just get physically beat...which is why they play keep away with the ball and try to use their quickness
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** 15 minutes until kick off. ALLEZ LES BLEUS!!!
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** game is at 2:30 ...coverage begins at 2:00
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Why do we pronounce it like it's spelled Yuruguay?
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Mexicans of Blacksburg (3 so far) are not happy with me right now. lol Mexico.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** I was always under the impression that it's pronounced Ooh-ruh-gwuy.
Re: ***Group A Thread (South Africa 1:1 Mexico, Uruguay v France)*** Right, but ESPN has decided to pronounce it YOO-ri-gway (as has most of America) and I was curious why.
