i only know that one song with the video that has the kids singing the song. i saw them open for gojira and mastodon, and they were pretty good.
This is cool shit. Just got the first and most recent albums. Thanks. Edit: don't know why this is in a spoiler.
Review of Opeth's new album: Sorceress’ is, simply put, Opeth’s finest album since ‘Ghost Reveries’, and their heaviest since ‘Watershed.’ It is moody, dark, and often mysterious, with its cover art reflecting its true nature perfectly. Once again, Opeth takes the listener along paths that are familiar, as well as through vistas untraveled. Ghost is also rumored to be releasing another EP of covers on September 16th.
still loving the Vektor album that ghost album has been confirmed for awhile but the release date kind of came out of nowhere
Tomorrow I'm seeing Pallbearer and Baroness. I really like Pallbearer so it should be a lot of fun. Baroness has proved to be much more of an acquired taste for me. But I'm starting to get them a little more and see why they are popular in the metal community.
I have a burning hatred for him and his many projects. Actually, I have nothing against the guy himself, I just find his fanbase more unbearable than Opeth/Ghost's fanbase.
He has a very dedicated fanbase, which is great for him. What I don't like is, much like the Opeth/Ghost fanbase, it's full of non-metalheads.
even with fantastic releases from vektor and fallujah, this is probably my favorite prog metal album so far i think Heavy Mental in particular will be fond of it
Infinitum Obscure Auroch Eternal Rest Perversion Yatrogeny Dysangelium Some of those bands have other albums, zero chance I look into acquiring them.
supposedly the opeth album is good. metalsucks gave it 4.5 out of 5 devil horns, which seems good considering all of the jokes about opeth on that site. this song is like dark jethro tull.
Not enough keyboards for you IMO... Drunk me had no idea I was showing up to a straight edge concert for this... lyrics are kind of obvious in retrospect, but im retarded.
Didn't hear any Skeletor in the vocals, that's a plus. The negative, they keep sounding more and more like a radio ready 80's pop band.
Holy shit, not a single bad song on the album! If someone doesn't release this in a physical format I will do it for them. Wouldn't be the first time I've done that for a band either.
