Yea why the fuck are sponsors so unwilling to invert their color scheme to make a kit look better? It doesn't make the sponsor any less noticeable if, say, Suntech were to have white font on that black kit.
Sometimes color is a big deal, and woth how much $ these sponsors are ponying up, theyre gonna get what they want. Cant expect McDonalds to use anything but gold for their arches, or a better example for you is a lot of the green/yellow coloring to accompany the xbox sponsor for the sounders kits (you cod make an argument that was the reason they have those vase colors to begin with. Owned by Paul Allen right???)
Emerald City being the main reason for their color scheme and that every other Seattle franchise utilizes green/blue or green/yellow in the case of the Sonics. But yeah they're owner by Paul Allen and it helps that Microsoft is based out of the Seattle area. It was always going to be a Microsoft or maybe Amazon sponsorship. In the case of Jeep on the new Juve kits... No reason for that box. That logo loses no meaning being a different color and I'm certain I've seen Jeep use a different color than black before. The McDonald's arches are iconic because they're gold. I'd agree that there are some sponsors that can't afford to change colors for the case of aesthetics because that's how we know them.
Yep, those are fresh. If the club wasn't ruining the beautiful game, those would be in strong contention for FIFA usage.
